I am trying to remember exactly how this works and I am hoping you can fill in the gaps.
All the lords of the Ironborn gather at a location and argue and vote on their new Lord/king
Did I miss anything? I do not mind running it but I just want to get it right.

Nope. That's basically it but it's not just lords who go. Any ship's captain can attend so you're probably talking upwards of 150 people plus their hangers on. Anyone can put their name forward for consideration and the winner is chosen by vote. Ironic that the most lawless, pirate scum bastards in Westeros managed to form a working democracy, isn't it?

That is true in history. Pirates on ships often elected the captian. The problem with the system is of course if a large enough block of men bad together, the captian gets dismissed in a most unfortunate manner.

A specific place called "Nagga's Cradle" on Old Wyk. The are known colloquially as "The bones of the Grey King's Hall" They are also, according to legend, the bones of an ancient Sea Dragon who was killed and who's body was used to create the Grey King's longhall
Here's a description from A Feast of Crows "The ribs of Nagga rose from the earth like the trunks of great white trees, as wide around as a dromon's mast and twice as tall"
I imagine it to be like natural standing stones
