Alright I need to discuss this with you. There has been some talk of how we do secrets. Some people post their secret for all to see and some people ask to have their actions hidden. There have been inconsitances because of lack of clarity.
I want to make it completely clear, should all scenarios be posted publically or can we know about stuff going on behind the scenes?
I can understand doing it both ways, as there are players that let things they can not possibly know affect their actions. But it would make everything flow alittle better if there were no surprises. I do not know if I framed that correctly, so I will wait for your answer.

Hmm. I think when it's something ultra-secret e.g. poison or assassination, they just tell us what they want to do & how and then we write a short scenario after we decided how it went so no arguments later on
If it's more something like the Dragon Eggs situation where I, or anyone who bothers to read old library stuff, know that when our characters possibly couldn't then it's more problematic as then people tend to write stuff to do with that when they shouldn't. I'd probably receive those scenarios, alter them so that people know something was carried but not what. Anything those people want to disclose in ooc or chat is up to them of course and their hard cheese about the results.
So I'd still ask for & received scenarios as normal but maybe cast a critical eye over them to see what should remain secret. Not an ideal situation but hopefully a decent compromise. I think we need to air a general thread and see what people's views on "secrets" are - open or otherwise. Use Barret's thing as an example possibly.

That is a good idea. Why don't you go ahead. And speaking of secrets are you going to off Balor and then tell people who you are.

I was going to wait until after the tourney to stop any disruption but I can post it first thing tomorrow (erm, my time!) if you'd like. I'll then pretty much leave the ironborn alone (except possibly for Urri as he'll survive the fire at Kraken Hall but not sure) for you to RP. I'll be as interested as anyone to see how you play it after all as (talking of secrets!) the ironborn won't know it was Braavos necessarily, certainly not right away. And bearing in mind Barret's been caught with his hand in the assassin jar, mistakes can be made... That's all I'm saying on that one

I know... but I am going to leave the iron born to the players. I am hoping they react and do something interesting. Otherwise I will decide what to do after the fact.
