The massive crater left behind by the falling star is just north of Griffin's Roost, south of Storm's End.

Rhodri Arryn, Elena Plumm, Roland Royce and Aranya Royce as well as Rhodri's many knights mill around the crash site, looking for anything else of interest after gathering the meteoric ore.

Aranya sifted through the rubble, using her spear to touch things. She did not want to touch anything here with her bare hands, for she sensed something foul about the site. It somehow reviled her.

Rhodri walks up to Elena, her nose deep in one of her research tomes. "Any thoughts, mi'lady?"

Elena puts down the book, "It is interesting. The star should be buried under the layer of dirt. You will have to dig to find it."

Roland poked around the dirt, not knowing even really what to look for. Storm's End marked the first time he'd been able to see what the gods were capable of. But which gods?

The men are quickly set to shovels to start digging. Elena is given the freedom to direct them as she sees fit.

Aranya took a shovel and started digging as Elena directed her, until she was covered in dirt. She was very strong, and dug swiftly and efficiently.

Nearly useless with a shovel, Rhodri merely leads the digging effort. He sends Ser Galwyn Fell, his swiftest rider, to Grandview with clear instructions.

"How big do you think it would be?" Aranya said, as the dirt piled up in fast-growing mounds behind her.

The digging finally pays off when Ser Felwick Gower shouts in triumph. "I've found something, mi'lord!"
Rhodri, Aranya, Elena and Roland all hustle over together and see the chunk of silver meteoric ore, clearly different from the rest of the find. They extract it from the earth and prepare to transport it. Falconclaw sits anchored not far from shore.

Aranya helped load the silver globe, staring at in fascination, and then rode with Rhodri and the others to the Falconclaw.

As they neared the Falconclaw, Aranya asked, "Rhodri, do you intend to take this back to the Eyrie?"

"No, I intend for you to take it back to the Eyrie. Take Ser Roland Royce and my knights as well, it needs a guard company. I will remain in Storm's End for now -- I am Warden of the East, and it is my duty to see to the defenses of this coast. With Storm's End ruined, they are weak with danger still lurking from across the Narrow Sea."
"Storm's End was my home, and I know the knights and lords of the Stormlands. I can help them here. Take the ore to the safety of the Eyrie, and I shall return soon," Rhodri says.
"Do not speak of it."

Aranya rode a little closer to Rhodri. The two of them were ahead of the others. "I will do as you say. Do you intend for Elena to stay here as well?" she asked, abruptly.
Rhodri replies, "She will remain here, but you will take Yohn home."
