On his way past the gates, Rhodri sees an old friend of his, darkened by soot. "Waymar?"
After a few minutes consultation, Waymar the Smith joins them.

They rode in the direction of Griffin's Roost. Aranya took one last look at the heaving waters of Shipbreaker Bay. "The kraken and the sea dragon," she whispered, and her eyes automatically raised to the sky. Seagulls were flying. She turned away from the horrible sight and rode with Rhodri.

Rhodri returns and seeks out Maester Chone and Ser Humbert Bolling. He immediately begins working with them to ensure the remaining wounded will recover; the key is access to fresh water. He spends his time investigating the water sources and making sure they have plenty.

Over the course of the next few days, several dozen walking wounded arrive at the castle ruins, seeking help. They have a variety of injuries, mainly broken bones and head injuries. They appear awestruck and in a state of shock to see what has happened to the legendary castle of the Storm Kings. Such shelter as is available is prepared but soon people are sleeping under the stars and being seen to by such few trained healers and volunteers as there are. They are beginning to tire under the strain.
Slowly, as they are seen to, they speak of the ruined states of their own villages, ill-equipped to deal with such a disaster. The dead lie unburied or crushed in their own homes for the lack of labour and tools to retrieve them. Local water supplies and animals are becoming polluted and disease is being to spread from the rotting and bloated corpses.

After spending a great deal of time trying to help those in Storm's End, Rhodri rides out to check on further parts of the Stormlands, including a stop at Mistwood to see his daughter and Blackhaven to see his goodsisters, to make sure everyone is safe.

Further south and west at Mistwood and Blackhaven respectively the earth tremors appear to have frightened the inhabitants but no more. A few cracks are made in various dwellings and structures but none collapse. Once past Griffin's Roost (which was heavily damaged) much of the countryside seems as it was, though the words on every man's lips are to do with the impact and what omens it could fortell.

Lord Rhodri returns from his trip to Mistwood and greets Prince Andry. He employs the maester to send a couple ravens on his behalf. He wishes the survivors well, and, seeing them in good hands, begins to journey north towards King's Landing.
OOC: I assume he is currently here.
