Timm asked "Do you have any competitors for the throne?"

"None who oppose me openly." she answered.

"Then I will support you. Loyalty you will have to earn." Timm responded, "Do you have any thing to drink... I am parched."

Tristeza nodded to one of the guards who had followed her to the messengers' encampment. He brought forth a jug of water. "We haven't anything more impressive than this; but it is not too long a ride back to Sunspear--we intended to leave directly, unless there is anything for which you wish to return to the keep?"

Glancing at his sword he says, "No I have everything I need." He looks at the water and grimaces slightly, then drinks deeply from the offered skin. "I thank you sincerely for that."

"Of course," she said simply, and seeing his glance, motioned the guard who held Morning to bring it to him. "I am sure you have missed it."

Strapping on his blade he nods, "Thank you. How badly have the Ironborn treated Sunspear?"

"Badly enough." she answered, sounding suddenly tired. "They looted the palace, took the available treasury, and the throne, made a wreck of the Sept...they found a Septon hanging dead from a chanadlier. It was gruesome. The poorer areas were not so badly affected...I suppose they knew they would not find much of value there."

Timm shakes his head, "War has proven itself to be a rabid bitch demoness. Yet she is my mistress... I need a drink, badly." Suddenely looking at Tristeza startled he apologizes, "I am sorry, I did not think before I spoke."

Tristeza laughed, "Please do not worry on my account, Lord Dayne. I would not trouble myself to be offended by such trifles."

Timm nodded and said, "Thank you Lady Martell. I will keep that in mind. Is there anything else you wish?"

"I wish your fealty." she answered honestly, "But I suppose there is nothing I might ask of you this moment," and with a smile still playing on her face, she turned to ready her horse for departure; she motioned the rest of their party to do the same--Lord Dayne was provided with a horse they had brought from the keep of Godsgrace.

Dayne falls in with the rest, watching the New Leader of Dorne trying to get an accurate measure of her.

As their party made pace for Sunspear, Tristeza fell back beside the Sword of Morning. "I intend to leave for King's Landing immediately upon returning to Sunspear...It would be wonderful if you would accompany me."

Timm squints at her for a moment, "Piers and I have not been close for years now."
