"Of course, Lord Edmure," Olander nodded in agreement. "To divide our forces would be the best course."

"I say we take the men at Winterfell now south and when the rest of the banners arrive here they can defend the north, the Riverlands must be aided in all haste."

Olander said nothing for a time, his mossy gaze unbroken and shining in the torchlight.
"It is for Lord Roose to decide," he murmured, finally.

"Of course but we must act before it is to late never the less."

Robett had entered along with Edmure, but he had stayed behind, standing quiet, while the rest of the lords discussed things of war. This was a place of lords, not heirs to houses. He witnessed the crannogman's news, and felt another knot form in his stomach, this was a time of death and bad news. He wondered what else the Old Gods would throw his way.
He watched at the three lords discuss what to do next. He couldn't help himself when he said.
"Me and my men can stay behind and keep an eye on the North"

"There you go Robett will stay and protect the North, so we can strike south while the iron is hot."

He felt embaressed that he had spoke out like that, and quickly added.
"If that is my Lord Stark's command, House Flint stands ready to aid you in any way you command us"

Olander Reed peered at the northern lording with a searching eye. "Flint..." he said, slowly. "Of Widow's Watch? Or of Flint's Fingers?"

"Of Widow's Watch, Lord Reed"
He didn't know much of the houses as his father had never bothered to teach him any of those things when he was little, in this place he was just a step higher than one of the common folk, at least that was how he felt.

"How many more men do you expect Olander we already have 15,000 here now and 2,000 at the moat, from what reports I have read there thousands upon thousands of the black-clad demons."

The hint of a bemused smirk played across the tiny crannogman's face. "I am no lord Master Flint, only an heir apparent as you are, awaiting my turn," he said demurely. "But it is good to see a face from Widow's Watch. I trust everything fares well with your kin?" he inquired.

"I guess the news of my brother haven't reached this far yet. If this war council had happened a few weeks ago, I would not be attending it, as my brother would have been here instead of me."

Olander nodded solemnly; there was no need to clarify. "May the Old Gods watch over him," he intoned.

"Thank you, Master Reed."
He walked over to the tiny crannogman and offered his hand.
"I am Robett Flint, take my hand in friendship and hope that the Old Gods watch over us here, and will lead us to victory in the coming battles"

Olander did as he was bid, clasping the large northman's hand that dwarfed his own. "The Old Gods will lead us to the battle, Robett," he said to the younger lordling, "but they will not fight it for us. How many men of Widow's Watch have you brought?"
