Lyas Bolton rode in the center of the northern army making it's way north. Every night he would right letters, send orders, securing his rule.
When he saw Marten Lannister he brought his horse up to him. "I have pressed our claim for Bear Island. Should the throne comply, you have your seat."

Marten smiles, than bows.
"You will not regret this decision, Lord Bolton. Shall I accompany you to the Dreadfort?"

OOC: If Morax wants to join us later he can.
IC: Lyas and Elaena and a few Bolton guards trotted along in the fields around the Dreadfort until they came to the White Knife. The large northern river was finally returning to its normal levels, with the winter run-off finally melted.

"Beesbury seems a bit of a fool," Elaena says to her uncle, "but he really does care for the boy."

"The matter of the boy is moot. No matter what the Tyrell's do, we win." He raises his arm and one of his men place his hawk on his forearm. He removes the hood and then throws the bird into the air.

Elaena smiles and watches the bird in silence.

Still watching the bird fly around, searching for its prey, Lyas spoke. "I might not be able to secure your futur husband's seat on Bear Island, the Iron Throne is being fickle in rewarding their loyal servants."

"Why that's what you have people like me for cousin. You pull your strings but when they fail I'm what you draw back on."

Lyas noticed his cousin join him. "Indeed...Morax, I need you to do something for me."

Lyas gave a raspy laugh. "I need you to wed and bed Lady Hornwood." The hawk spotted a duck in the lake and dived.

"You're joking." Morax looked closely at Lyas. "No, your fucking not. Damn it Lyas."

Lyas looks at him strangely, "Are you adverse to such a thing? The lady is comely enough."
