A large, heavily forested island just off the north coast of Deepwood Motte. The ancestral home of House Mormont, now in the possession of the Iron Islands. The keep and surrounding villages now carry the Kraken flag along with the Bear. A large port is growing from a small secluded bay on the south coast. The locals are calling it "Ironclaw Bay"

The snow storm that had hit Castle Black with a fury now spreads across the Wall and starts moving further south. Heavy flakes blanket the world, creating white out conditions. A bitter cold cuts through clothing and skin. Seas toss with frigid white capped waves, chilly death waiting for all who dare brave them.

Erik meets the men in what passes for a throne room in the keep.
"Greetings, captains," He says, "It is good to finally make your acquaintances. I had tried to get here sooner, but, well, delays at Lannisport, I'm sure you've heard. We will be sailing soon. How are the ships? Oh, and who are you? Give me some names."

Erik sees the looks on some of their faces and continues, "Some of you look confused. No, sadly, we will not be going to war just yet, but what we will be doing is going out on the sea so I can see what you lot are capable of. I'm sure you are all fine sailors, but you aren't Ironmen...yet. Now, so we're all clear, Harrin," He gestures to the man, standing behind him on the right, "is my second in command. Until his own ship is completed, he will be sailing with one of you. Volunteers?"

An older man shrugs and raises his hand, "so long as he doesn't try to make off with me wife n' childern," he grins.

Harrin laughs, "I'll have to see them first, before I make any promises."
Erik, grinning, continues, "Well, then that will be all for the time being. You and your families are all invited here tonight, by the way. We'll be having a little feast."

Most of the captains look pleased enough by the prospect of a feast as they start to leave.
