"I'm twelve milord, only a year younger than you were, and Ser Axell" he gestured to a elderly knight standing on the right, "And Maester Sandor" He gestured to an even older man on the left, in a chain, "help me. I think milord for his concern."

Roose gave a slight nod to both, and then turned to Lord Manderly. "Lord Manderly, I require a private room. I wish to have a quick meeting with your two advisors. After which I will meet with you in private."

Lady Stark spent this time shopping for sealskins.

The boy's face reddened, and he looked as though he were about to throw a temper tantrum, but the elderly Maester put a hand on his shoulder, and the boy looked up at him, and than back at Stark, "milord Stark shall have what he requires. Ser Axell will show you to your apartments, at which time you may speak with him. Ser Axell, see that they are comfortable, and than return directly."
"Yes milord." The older knight said.
"Milord Stark, if you would." He gestured, leading the Lord of the North to a series of well appointed rooms.

As his liege lord arranged for a more private conversation, Olander Reed departed from the hall to walk among the market places of White Harbor. Despite the men he had rooted out the crannogman still felt a mild unease about the city, as if something sinister still lurked underneath the cold stone.
"Milady Stark," he said curiously to Roose's newly taken wife. Skagosi or not, Olander has an ill feeling, and would rather not have her peruse the shops unaccompanied.

"Lord Reed," Tyla smiled. "Did counting Lord Manderly's chins get too boring? I sympathize with you."

"It would have been easy enough; the boy lord is a small thing," Olander said, turning his attention to a finely sewn sealskin half-cape. "In truth, I left for that your lord husband requested a private audience with the Lord Manderly."

"I doubt you are missing anything of truly great import," Lady Tyla drawled, draping on the cape and turning lightly. "How does it look? Not too heavy?"

He gave a faintly dismissive roll of his shoulders. If his lord was speaking of urgent things, it was of no worth; Olander would hear of it, if necessary. "No," he said, reaching instead for a corset of the same supple brown-black sealskin. "Though I suppose milord Roose might take more interest in this than any half-cape."

Tyla laughed and smiled at him. "Shall I try it on?" she asked sweetly.

His eyes were for a pair of sturdy sealskin boots, finely sewn with black thread and lined inside with dark, warm wool. "If milady wishes," Olander said.

Tyla smiled at him, grabbed the sturdy books, and disappeared with them as well. She reappeared a moment later, laced in the sealskin corset, which stretched nicely even though the sealskin was thick. She was wearing the boots.
"This was probably ill advised," Tyla said at once, grabbing the half-cape. "I hate winter. Look quickly, and then I'm changing."

The crannogman gave Tyla Stark an appraising look, lingering for more than a quick glance. The corset fit lovely and would have no doubt caught any man's attention. "Do you forget not the words of your husband's house? Winter is Coming, milady. Change if you will."

Tyla winked at him and tossed a smile, and then saunted back into the dressing room to change. When she emerged in her normal dress, she said, "Winter is milder down south, isn't it?" She looked at the clothes vendor. "I'll take the boots, the corset and the cape."

The elderly vendor mumbled something about a few silvers, his gaze struggling to rise for a moment before settling to stare at the Lady Stark's chin.
"South of my home it snows as it does here, though milder, and not nearly as long. It's in the summer that the rest of the realm seems truly a different land. The air itself seems thicker, sweet with the scent of bloom and heavy with heat."
