ooc: oh well, in that case...
Seeing the gates already open and some kind of commotion occurring inside, Balor orders his men forward to assault the keep and find the hostages. Once the gatehouse is secured, Balor himself enters with his command.

OOC: Yah I was reading that, and actually muttered "So much for stealth Tallahar".
IC: Callen's army made its way north, pacifying resistance along the may, but for the most part making a beeline for Winterfell. When they reached the gates they already saw an Ironborn force starting to make its way in. Callen started in surprise, but then grinned. He turned his horse around. "It seems as though Balor Greyjoy wants to steal all the glory for himself. We can't let him do that now can we men?" He raised a fist in the hair and then made motion with his hand. "Calvary on me. Into the breach!" He unsheathed Fury and kicked his horse into a gallop. "Ours is Fury!"

ooc: ouch. This is going to get messy. I really hope my men and yours actually take the time to see what badges people are wearing otherwise it could be a real gorefest. Getting charged in the flanks as you assault a gate makes men a bit edgy after all.
IC: Balor looks back in disbelief as a large cavalry force launch themselves towards the gate. He spots some Baratheon and southron symbols and realises that they aren't more northern reinforcements. He struggles to try and redirect his men out of the way of the charging horde.

When Callen reached the gate he raised a hand to call a halt. He dismounted and with a smile on his face he saw Balor. "Greyjoy you bloody bastard. Didn't expect to see you here before us."

Balor struggled through the throng of his men, bloody sword in hand. He pulled up well short of Callen and sketched a small bow. "Sire" he said politely "After news of your victory in Moat Cailin I thought to act quickly before the northerners decided to exact their revenge on Lord Stark's family. As I arrived, we found the gates open and so took advantage of that odd lapse in security". He paused and looked reflective for a moment "I could hear the sounds of fighting inside the keep - perhaps the northerners fight amongst themselves after the defeat? Either way we had better hurry before it is too late" he said and bellowed "Clear a way up there! I want that gatehouse and courtyard free from enemies NOW!" he strode up towards the bloodstained but much quieter gate and ducked a look inside quickly. Looking back at Callen he said "It looks clear for now, Callen. If we do anything we should do it now"

Harral Greyjoy surged through the northmen hacking and slashing in the glorious bloodlust.

Seeing his brother charge forward Balor shouted "Harral! Make for the main keep and make sure it's only rebels you kill. If they're tied up, odds are they aren't rebels!" he hollered, trying to break through Harral's baresark rage

Shaking his head from side to side to clear it he looks down at the died men wearing the green of the Tyrells. Yelling back to his brother "Oh well they Where only Greenlanders." with a sardonic smile across his face.

As Haley lays in bed sudden and powerful pains come over her, "Jeyne it's time the baby is coming."
Just as she says that she hears the Battle cry of her husband ,"FOR HALEY."
"Tallahar," She tries to call but the birthing pains are to great and she falls back.

Jeyne summons up every ounce of her knowledge to aid Lady Haley. "The baby is coming," she shouts, "Hot water!" She suspects she will go unheeded. At least they have plenty of linens and lots of tepid water.
She puts pillows behind Haley's back so she is sitting up slightly, arranges her legs in the best way possible and then grips her hand firmly. "Breathe deep, m'lady, breathe deep," she urges her. Haley screams in pain. "That's fine to scream, yell your bloody head off if you feel like it," says Jeyne in calm measured tones as if she did this every day. "Just breathe deep."

"ARRRGGG." The pain Haley felt was more terrible then what she felt when she gave Birth to William or Edmure, "I'm Pushing."

"Good job, just breathe and then push, just breath and then push. Get plenty of air in your lungs." She put Haley's hand on a chair she pushed up to the side of the bed and went to see the scene of the action.
"M'lady, I can see the top of the head, you're doing beautifully. Just breathe deep and then push, you're getting there" said Jeyne, continuing in her calm voice despite her fright.

Randal advances, determined this time to have glory. Even so, after the King stops, so do the Lannisters, and Randal makes no move untill the King does.

ooc: My sister was in labor for ten hours ic: Haley screamed and Jeyne saw the crown of the head begin to emerge. "Push m'lady, push! The baby is coming, just hang on and push." Haley screamed again but obviously was pushing as well. The baby's head was inching out. "PUSH!" yelled Jeyne, "THE BABY IS COMING" Haley gave a huge, guttural grunt and out slid a wet, red, squalling baby. It was a small, beautiful girl. "She's lovely m'lady" said Jeyne. "AAAAAGGGGHHHHHH" screamed Haley and a foot appeared out her womb. "M'lady, there's another baby! Keep Pushing!" cried Jeyne, silently cursing that this baby would be born breach. At least his or her sister had made way for this sibling. The sound of fighting echoed up and down the halls of the castle. Haley's screams were lost in the shouts of battling men. Finally, with another huge groan, a second child, a screaming little boy, was born. Some how Haley's stomach still do not look like it had disgorged all its contents. Jeyne felt her stomach. "M'lady! There is a third child in your womb!" she cried. "May I try to move it so it is ready to come out?" Haley grunted her assent. Slowly Jeyne felt for the head of the child and tried to shift it to the birth canal. After her careful manipulations, she could finally see another crown of a head. By this point Haley was utterly exhausted, almost too weak to push. Jeyne rinsed her hands thoroughly and told Haley "If I may, I will help this child out." Haley nodded and between weak pushes from her and Jeyne's gentle tugging, a third child was born, and then the afterbirth followed. Now Haley no long looked pregnant. "Three children, m'lady two beautiful little girls and a lusty little boy," said Jeyne, her eyes filling up with tears. Haley also began to weep from exhaustion and joy, holding the first two in her arms, while Jeyne cradled the third. "A miracle this day indeed."
