Some of Ryswells forces ride out to meet the Southern Army. Ryswell has forbidden his men to aid the Southern forces as agreed to in his treaty with King Wull. 900 North men from the Barrows and Rills join with Tyrells forces to aid them.

Rickard Rowan walks up to Barret, "I must say M'lord you truly look different without the hair, This is your first is it not, War I mean. For you see i have fought in many Battle and I am a seasoned commander so do not think twice about asking me I would be more then happy to give it."

"It is now easier to feel the wind", Barret said smiling brightly, "and I'd consider that a good thing. As for helping me, I would be pleased to have you join me before and during battle."

Stepping in close Rickard places his mouth next to Barret ear, "Your much better then the brute Tallahar, now if I was you I would arrange it so Tallahar has an accident if you know what I mean."

"Oh yes it was only a jest, but he is awfully ambitous for only a cousin, It would be ok the Rowan's would stand by you if he was to have an arrow in his back when he comes North for a brute like him will always look for fighting." Rickard says all this with a smile on his face but steel in his voice.
