Ser Robert gazed down from the top of the Wall, surrounded by his archers. At his command they notched and drew and loosed their burning arrows down onto the seething mass of wildlings. Screams rose from the hordes beyond the Wall.

Gisella sat calmly beside Ser Eddard Peake and his 250 heavy horse. Eddard kept glancing at the battle, visibly straining to be involved but Donal had made very clear that he was to attack only when ordered to do so by Gisella. He glanced at her irritably but noticed she was staring intently at the Redroyce, not even paying attention to the battle occuring in front of her. "Shall we attack now, milady?" he said pointedly "Hmm?" she murmered "Shall we attack, milady!" Eddard repeated loudly. "Oh that!" she replied "No, no. It's not yet time, you insufferable man" she gestured, obviously annoyed at being disturbed. She resumed her intent gaze up Lord Rhodri as Eddard fumed silently.

Ser Donal walks stiffly back to rejoin his men, joking and clapping them on the back "What's this boys? You don't think some smelly, scruffy savage would be the one to do me in? Harold! I saw you during the last attack. You did me proud boy, I thought you'd drive them back single-handedly. Perhaps you've scared them off?" he walks among his men, raising their morale and relaxing them for the greater test ahead. He knew the giants would come next...

Lord Robert Hightower stood at the top of the wall and scanned down, Why did Donal tell to go on top why the top anywhere but here, i can swing a sword better then any man in that tunnel, but no im forced up top.
"M'lord are you all right if i was you i wouldnt stand so close to the edge"
Robert turns to see a brother of the Nights Watch, "Yes Yes a good idea" Robert steps back then only reliases that the man is carrying food.
"Oh yes this is for you, Just some Stew and bread must be simple to for a lord like you, M'lord"
"We have killed together my good man do not worry over rank, Also the Stew and Bread will very good thank you, and it will be plenty for me. Tallahar had me only eating what i could find for a month around Highgarden it was very lite with the knights protecting the orchards, thank you"
As Robert starts eating and the Brother leaves that he the thought appears into his mind that he didnt even know his name.

Amongst the archers along the Wall stands one unknown to most the men beside her. She is clad in a flat steel breatplate and steel greaves, so her figure is disguised, and her helm covers the better part of her face. Wordlessly, she fires volley after volley into the teaming Wildlings below. Lady Cortesse Horpe does her part in the Battle for the Wall.

Lord Rhodri's eyes widens as he sees the massive mammoths charging towards the gates. He calls out for the archers to shoot flaming arrows at the fell beasts, hoping that flame would scare and panic them.

"Giants!" yells a Black Brother from the top of the Wall "Right men this is what we have been waiting for. If we can defeat them now I promise you we will win the battle." Standing in front of the large gate Rindwynd Draws his Great-Sword off his back "For Westeros, And the King!" he cries "Westeros and the King!" Yell the men behind him.

Garrett Redfort came cantering back up the snowy hill from the field hospital, his wounds stitched and bandaged. The dead knight's destrier bore him steadily up to the Wall, and there Garrett looked around for Ser Donal Tyrell.

While the volleys of flaming arrows and other ammunition are sent in crashing waves, Lord Rhodri Royce, his spear held high above his head, organizes a long line of heavy horse, knights and freeriders and all those ready, able and fresh to join the frey. Beside him are the best: the Stormshield, Ser Giles Grandison, Lord Cerdic Hasty, and Lord Betram Selmy. Ser Garrett Redford, riding hard to rejoin the fight, is pulled into the line.
"Men, now is the time of testing! Knights, now the battle is quickening, and in these moments, our virtue, our manhood, and our strength will be tested by the lumbering shadows of the gods and spirits of old! We fight today to defend our realm, we fight against the coming beasts of the Age of Legends! We fight, we may die, to defend all that is true, and just, in our great land! Now ride!"
As he spoke, the enemy, massive, gnarled, primordial, are pushing their way through the gate, using their massive weight to plow through the outmanned footmen.
With that, he turns Javelin, his mighty warhorse, towards the enemy, lowers his spear, and leads a thundering charge of horse uncountable, the assembled strength of the great knights of Westeros, to either fight or die defending all they hold dear.

Donal saw the mammoths begin to move towards the gate. He could still not see any sign of Hallise. He moved forward, standing in front of the gate and shouted "Hallise! Hallise, you ugly, mangy son a whore! Where are you? Come here so I can burn off the other side of your face, you stinking bastard!" Donal looked demented with rage. With the bloodied white sable cape flowing in the wind behind him, his appearance was that of some ancient prehistoric warlord "My dead boy had more courage than you, you rancid puddle of piss! If you want this fucking gate, why don't you come and take it! COME ON!" he bellowed "You're the king of shit if you hide behind your men like a woman!" Donal carried on cursing and shouting, as the flaming arrows flew over his head towards the wildlings. Eventually he was dragged back by his men to stand to the right of his brother's forces by the gate, ready to strike into the right flank of the enemy as they poured through the gate. He looked around his men and saw their fear "Come on lads. One last fight and we'll send them packing. For Addam!" he raised his mace in one hand and shouted again "ADDAM! ADDAM! ADDAM!" he chanted as his men took it up all screaming it, their fear forgotten in bloodlust.

Gisella watched with an amused smile on her face, as Donal taunted the wildlings. As he was dragged back into position and Lord Rhodri formed up his cavalry line, she said in a quiet voice "Now, Ser Eddard. Now is the moment." Ser Eddard smiled eagerly and slammed shut his visor, motioning his men forward, lances lowered, to join the left flank of Rhodri's charge. Gisella sat calmly on her palfrey, awaiting on the hilltop.

Lord Tallahar runs forward as the press of body's confuse him. "Rindwynd stop swing that thing of yours" but Tallahar cousin does not hear him if its the sound of swords or the rush of blood pumping through his ears.
"HAAAALEEEEEEYYYYY" charging forward shoulder slick against the coldness of the Gates wall. A foul smelling wildling swings what would be called an axe for them but in truth is maybe a bit of sharpened stone strapped to wood, castle forged steel of the Reach cleaves into his heart, but before Tallahar could pull his sword out another grotesque thing takes his place.
"Come out you Bastard" but a pikeman staps into the wildlings face and throat squirting blood and brains over Tallahar "Thanks" with only a hint of sarcasm.
"We can win this push those Giants will still fall." For all his brave words Tallahar does not know if that is true, but as a loyal Lord and Cousin to his lord he would die for it.
Blood soaked Tallahar fights on in this Gate of Hell

"Every man ahorse, rally to me! This battle has not yet ended!" With that, the Redroyce leads a charge past the gate and after the fleeing foes, knowing that beyond bowrange they could reorganize. The gates might not hold another assault, so now was the time to crack them apart for good.
There would be time to mourn the dead later, when no enemy was left in sight.
