Lord Plumm having lost Lord Yew stands atop the wall looking down at the northern wilds. As he turns to look south he sees Lord Rindwynd and approaches him. "Lord Rindwynd how goes it? Do you think of the upcoming battle, or those left behind?" He glances nervously at Rindwynd worried about disturbing his solitude.

"Ah Plumm. A little of both I was hoping to see my son before he goes to Storms end. What about you?" turning to Lord Plumm

Jayson nods, "I was up around here just over a year ago now with my Elena. So just looking down at that wilderness makes me think of her." He laughes, "Of course just looking at buttons or willow trees make me think of her. Almost all my thoughts are of her."

Turning to Tallahar, Jayson's smile seems forced, "I will kill as many as my orders allow. How many do you plan to slay?"

With two men at arms carrying her luggage, Elane walked towards the field hospital, leading her blood bay by her bridle. Walking was much more enjoyable after long days in the saddle, and Elane was pleased that she would see Lilith again. Maybe Petra would be there too.

"Here they come!" Donal's voice booms out across the courtyard as the wildlings launch their first attack "Stand ready. Any man who run's I'll cut down myself" he snarls, swinging his mace impatiently.

The staff of the makeshift hospital began carrying the wounded away to wayns and stretchers. There was no time to get all of them at once, and the dead were left where they were; the soldiers and black brothers were already reforming around the gates. Hundreds had died.

Lord Yew stands atop the wall screaming as he fires his bow over and over into the hordes of wildlings, "Die foul creatures! I mean literally foul! Have you never heard of a Bath!??! You are just caked with dirt!! My mother could smell you!! That is quite the accomplishment since she is thirty years dead!!" On and on he showers the wildlings with bathing techniques and different variety of soaps.

OOC: Marry me Yew
Garrett wheeled his courser round for another charge as the wildings struggled to get through the gates. Men were dying all around them, but he steered his horse forward. Twenty knights formed up behind him. Leveling his sharp, steel-tipped war lance, Garrett charged, and he heard the thunder of hooves behind him. They drove a path through the press of men, and the wildlings fell before their charge, their arrows glancing off the knights' and horses' armor.

Ser Doyle Swann stood, now dressed in a black cloak, and fought alongside his new Brothers amongst the Rangers. He saw the charging horse; two men stood out, riding side by side -- one all in red, towering in the saddle of a massive destrier, the other clad head to toe in blue. If not for his vows that morning, he would likely be charging alongside the Redroyce and the Stormshield. Instead, he was on foot, letting arrows fly. He felt a little tug of envy at the horsemen, but he had found peace with his decision.

Donal laughed fiercely as he charged into the ranks of the wildlings attacking the gate. He slammed his mace into the face of one of them, splintering his teeth and shattering his jaw. As he sunk to the ground he spun and delivered a devastating blow into the ribs of another foe. He spotted one of their captains not far away urging his men on. His face was painted in brown and blue markings and he wore a large white sable fur cape. Donal launched himself at the man, contemptously smashing his way through his men. The captain saw him coming and attacked. Donal ducked under his swing and counter-attacked just missing the right leg. Donal attacked again, striking a glancing blow on his shield arm. Grimacing in pain, the captain struck out catching Donal just above the left hip. Roaring in pain and anger Donal gripped his mace in two hands and launched a massive blow which snapped the captain's sword in two and crunched into his chest. Dying, the captain sank to his knees. Bellowing "Addam!" Donal smashed his mace into the man's head splattering himself in gore. He continued to bludgeon the corpse for a few seconds before coming to his senses. He saw the wildlings retreat for now. He tore off the sable cape from the body and placed it on his own shoulders. He limped off to the healers tent to staunch his wound which was bleeding freely.
