As the Lannisters near the Bloody Gate, 100 men on horseback approach from the west, riding three wide on the narrow road to the Gate. They wear the livery of the Vale Watch. A banner flies at the head of the column, Arryn above a smaller banner bearing the arms of House Melcolm.
A knight whose shield also bears the anchor device, trotted his horse close to the Lannisters. "Well met, I am Ser Benjen Melcolm, Captain of the Vale Watch. I gather from your arms that you are Lannisters... Maurin, Marten, and Benedicta, I believe."

Benedicta shrugged at Marten. "Depends," she responded. "I imagine they've hit a speed bump, but this is Emelia we're talking about."
Benedicta looked at the captain of the hundred, reining up her horse ahead of their guard. "Hail. We are the Lannisters, yes."

Melcolm nodded. "Milady, I am to take you and your company into custody and transport you to the Bloody Gate. Please surrender your arms and come peacefully."

Benedicta looked at Melcolm and then back at the hundred-man company behind her and Marten. "On whose authority?"

OOC: Check. It's 51 now because I miscounted Benedicta's and counted in Jonas', both improperly.
Benedicta smiled. "I think it is. If you have no authority, we don't obey."
She looked to Marten. "Break!" she ordered, and immediately the force wheeled away from the road, back the other way.

"Fucking bitch!" Melcolm growled. He then gave orders in a clear loud voice. "Charge and pursue. Take the nobles alive if you can, but take no undue risks!" The 100 men of the Vale Watch spur into action. "Tom, Lars! Report back to the Gate!" Two men ride in the opposite direction, east.
OOC - I'm not going to assume Benedicta's command successful nor the force wheeling until Marten has a chance to post his own actions for himself and his men.

"Wait a moment!"- Marten interrupts before it comes to arms.
"We were never prisoners and Lord Bettley gave us permission to leave. As we speak, forces of the West are moving to join with forces marching against Andry Baratheon. Now, I understand that you want only to provide escort for us to the Bloody Gate?"
Marten will try to stop Benedicta from giving her order, as he thinks that they won`t make it out of the Vale in such way.

The Valemen rode close but Ser Benjen raised his sword arm in a gesture that told them to stop at Marten's words. "It is on the authority of the King and his hand that I take you. You will be escorted to the Bloody Gate and held there until such time as it please the King you should be released. There is no need for bloodshed here today, and I assure you, you shall be treated as well as we can manage at the Gate."

"We won`t make it" -Marten whispers to Benedicta. Then he turns to Sir Benjen.
"We will go with you. But I demand that Lord Bettley and Lord Banefort are informed of this." I cannot allow another woman to die because of my mistakes....another Lannister.
