Lord Wayman Royce bursts into Rhodri's chambers with urgent news. He immediately pauses to blush, but Rhodri is on his feet quickly reaching for his robe.
"The Braavosi have fled Dragonstone. We should act quickly, mi'lord, as you wanted to."

The company rode to the Gates of the Moon. Now they would have to begin the ascent. Aranya looked up, shivering. The last time she had come here, it had been with Selwyn. She felt a pang.

Elena Plumm follows him and smiles at Aranya, when Rhodri stops Elena slips her arm through his and puts her head on his shoulder.

Aranya greeted Rhodri and Elena in a warm but distracted way, and then glanced between them sharply.
"Have you heard the news?" she asked tersely.

"My son," Aranya said, her voice brittle. "My three-year old baby boy, Brynden. He was kidnapped from the Dun Fort, along with Princess Nymeria. Ser Vance and I suspect one Ser Jonjen Hill, a hedge knight who entered my service and vanished that same knight. Ser Vance saw him in the hallway."

Rhodri's face quickly turns to anger. "I knew it. He is still after our family. He may be after you, next. You must go up to the Eyrie, and stay safe that way. I will not lose more family."

"I have come here for a reason other that staying safe," Aranya said. "I have a lead on my son, but I had to come here...best not to speak of these things down at the Gates. If we could ascend, coz."
She glanced again at Elena, at first wary, but then she relaxed and managed a nod and smile.

Aranya put an arm around her. "Thank you for the support." She still cradled Selyse in one arm; Perra held Lewyn, and led Rhae. They mounted on the mules to ascend up to the waycastles.

A short reply to Rhodri's letter arrives at the Gates from Sara, quickly glossing over the journey to Casterly Rock and Lord Randal's unexpected pleasantries. She sends her love to Rhodri and the children and hopes to see them again soon.

Rhodri Arryn arrived in the Gates of the Moon, garbed for travel, his son in tow. They mount their steed and ride, followed by an honor guard of Rhodri's knights.
