"Uncle," she said, gazing into his ruined face. "You have nothing to be ashamed of. You have always made me proud. I love you and I want you to sit with me for breakfast. Why didn't you reveal yourself to me last night? Don't you know how happy that would have made me, on my wedding day?"

"Like...taking Royce's lance...to my face?" he asks.

"Damn Royce to seven hells," Alla said bluntly. "I don't care for him or his stupid bronze armor. You are ten times the warrior he will ever be...even now, uncle. Even now. And your face still looks wonderful." Robar could tell that she was actually sincere, from the way her eyes were shining.

"I must...go. To Longbow Hall," Robar says. "Thank you, Bolton...for the...kindness," Hunter says.

Alla looked a bit stricken, but tried to compose her face quickly. "Are you really going to leave?"

"There is no shame in a wounded soldier, Hunter. So long as it does not unman them. There is always a use for a commander and you will always be great." Nodding at the man Morax bowed and glared at other guests until they opened a path for the man to exit.

Alla beamed at him. She took Lord Robar's hand gently and led him proudly to the Bolton table. "My lord husband, cousins, may I present to you my uncle, the Lord Hunter of Longbow Hall and one of the greatest generals the realm has ever seen."

Lord Hunter throws back his cloak. The shoulder length brown hair for which he is known still flows on the left side of his head, and the left side of his face is still rugged and handsome, the commanding face of a man of middle years. The right side of his face and head is badly scarred and locked in rictus.
Only half of his mouth moves when he speaks.
"Not...the greatest. Just...the guttiest," Hunter says. "Treat...my niece...well. And the Vale...will be...your greatest...ally."

Alla kissed his shoulder and smiled. "Guttiest and greatest, then." She smiled at her husband. "My lord is very good to me, nuncle."

OOC: Dom is gone for a bit read problims at work thread (his misspelling not mine) so I am him to finish this.
Dominic bowed low and looked at the man's scarred face. His own did not flicker with disgust as had so many others. His eyes met those of Lord Hunters. "On my honor I will treat your niece with all the honor she deserves. I am dissapointed I did not make your acquaintance earlier."

Lord Hunter bows his head to his good-nephew before departing.
OOC: Just thought I'd move it along so you guys can go ahead and continue your travels.

Alla Hunter kissed her uncle good-bye, thanks Lord Wayman, and prepared to depart with the Boltons.

The crowd disperses with awe at the event. Soon the sellsword Burke makes a rowdy joke about the wedding night which breaks the tension. Dominic and Alla sit and eat giving each other secret smiles and looks throughout the meal. After most of the visitors leave the great hall Dominic leaves his brides side and leans over to whisper to Juliette. "Let me see the letter."
