When Lady Elara agreed to keep Brynden safe, Aranya and Selwyn saddled their horses.
"We'll meet him at the Bloody Gate," Aranya told Selwyn. "I hope the whisperer knows how to ride. We don't have much time."

With the war over, the lords of the Vale return to their keeps to take care of more domestic work that has been neglected. Lord Tommen Redfort takes over most of the work as his father is growing old, and practices daily with Aelerion's Foe. The spear was blooded in the war, but Tommen is still determined to master its use.
