Gower laughs and laughs. "Climb for it, boy!" Gower tosses it onto a ledge, about 10 feet up.

Alliser jumped on Gower instead, and starting flailing his limbs and kicking and hitting. A few of his punches and kicks accidentally hit Gower.

Then Alliser jumped up for his sword. It was a bit hard.

"Gee, thanks!" Alliser got his sword and beamed as Gower lowered him back down. "Want to fight again? And later I can sing for you if you like!"
The cow mooed warningly.

Alliser began singing a song about the virtues of ale.

Gower cuffs the cow. "Sing along, then, beast, or it's steak for supper!"

The cowed mooed mournfully at the knight, but when her rider's singing grew louder she cantered away in alarm. Hearing Alliser always helped her find her feet - and her speed.

Two knights ride into the screens set around Rhodri's forces. One carries a huge banner showing the sigil of house Banefort, the other is Lord Banefort. "Take me to Rhodri Arryn. Please." Looking about at the Largest army he had ever seen Banefort sneers, "I surrender."

Banefort's surrender is accepted. He is kept under guard. Lord Arryn will see him when he returns from his hunt.

Lord Arryn, still at the Golden Tooth, reacts to a message delivered to him by raven and seeks out the castle's Maester.
"Maester, tell me about this message." Rhodri holds up the most recent one he has received. "Can you tell me by the bird that bore it what castle it came from? It was unsigned, and concerns me."

Alliser rode his cow proudly alongside Felwick Gower, and wished Banefort hadn't surrendered. He would have liked to kill and sing.

After his conferral with the maester, Rhodri pens a message of his own and has it relayed to King's Landing.
