(OOC: News travels fast, I know. ^_^)
A raven arrives in the Maester's rookery, bearing a letter from Dorne:
Lord Baldwin,
I trust this message finds you in good health, my kinsman. Your daughter is safe at the Water Gardens, and sends her regards.
I'm sure you've heard of the party in Dorne. We will not submit to the Stag's army, and as we call the armies of Dorne to war, we have also begun to gather the last of the Dragon loyalists to our cause against Callen. Which leaves the Lannisters...still doing nothing. But I don't think Callen will let you stay unaligned forever.
We do extend the same offer to Casterly Rock that we have extended to Raventree Hall: banners called in the name of King Aemon the Honest, defending both Dorne and the Six Kingdoms against Callen. I do understand that you were never fond of the Treaty of Sunspear, and that it absolutely drove your man Bettley up the wall, but I will make you the offer nonetheless.
If you see that your interests still lie with Callen, then I understand perfectly, and in that case, I only ask that you double whatever price you were going to ask before receiving my letter.
Do reply, either way. If you see value in an alliance, and can get an herald down to Dorne, we would be happy to sign a pact to this effect.
As always, your cousin, Emelia Nymeros Martell, Princess of Dorne Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

Lord Allard,
My regrets about Lord Baldwin, and my hopes for your own success as a Lord.
As to what I have to offer...there is rather little we can offer to Lannister, it is true. While neither Dorne nor the Riverlands are as weak as you appear to believe, nor the King so strong as he seems, ultimately, you must make of this situation what you can.
However, I will make note of one thing. The Reach is less well-guarded now than it could be, with all the armies of the Kingdom in the East. And if any of the Andal kingdoms could stand without need of the Iron Throne's overlordship or the lad-king's posturing, it would be the Westerlands. Should you seek to name yourself King in Casterly Rock, then a partition of the Tyrell lands would leave Callen's strength cut in half at a stroke.
That said, House Martell will hold no ill will against our cousins the Lannisters, should your ambition be limited to what rank and lands you hold. Should such be the case, all we ask is that you do not sell your support for Callen cheaply.
Emelia Nymeros Martell, Princess of Dorne, the Sun of the Rhoynar, and Protector of the Realm. Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.
