Lord Baldwin stood next to Bardwyn Doggett looking down at the corpse of Syward. "Was any one seen?" the lord asked his castellan.
"No my lord. He has seen entering his chambers by Ser Waters, and then nothing until another of his Goldhands found his corpse later."
Baldwin's eyes ran over the corpse again, "So he was stabbed. I assume you are going to have to talk all of his enemies."
"Aye milord, He made a boat load of new foes in the last few days and I think it might be a tad touchy with me running the investigation." Bardwyn paused and looked at his lord.
Baldwin bites at his lip, and then nods. "You are right as much as I hate it. Who are you thinking?"
Bardwyn replies, and Baldwin nods approval. The two men walk away leaving four guards outside the chamber's doors.
