Two of Bettley's squires are take up position at one of the tables in feast hall. Soon every one knows that they can place wagers with any man seated at that table and they have the word of Lord Piers Bettley guaranteeing their bets.
ooc-I know personally finances are kaput but I figured it would still be fun to place wagers on your favorites.

Ser Raymund Corbray's squire wagers ten copper stars that Ser Raymund will win the archery contest, and five stars that Ser Garrett Redfort will be the jousting champion.
Lady Nymella Waynwood places 200 silver stags on Ser Garrett Redfort for both the archery and the joust, and Lady Janna Belmore does likewise for Ser Tommen Redfort. Three Vale knights bet on Ser Robert Royce in the joust.

Kevan Mallister places ten gold dragons on Warren Blackwood to win the joust. Benfred Vance places five gold dragons on Warren Blackwood and five gold dragons on Terrence Blackwood, both to win the joust.
Kevan is still berating his companion for his stupidity ("They can't both win!") when Kennos Keath swaggers up to the wager table with a smile and places twenty gold dragons on... Kennos Keath.
