Before Aerie could slip away with Ser Edrick, a woman of the house Royce carreened closer and offer a kind introduction. Aerie nodded graciously and introduced herself as well with a usual quirkly smile. "I do not think we have met, my lady," she intoned. "I am Aerie of house Blackwood. Perhaps you have met Ser Edrick Dondarrion and the rest of this little gathering?"

"I have yet to meet the warrior who planned to lose a battle, but of course they would all be dead." Vikter Jast looks around at the crowds of people now surrounding them, "I am not going to discuss my hate of Spicer." Elbowing his way free from the crowd Jast stalks to the side of Lord Plumm and the two men stand next to each other not talking.

Rhodri Royce approaches Lord Lannister. "Mi'lord, I have been remiss in naming a champion that rode with me here at the Rock. I had hoped to convince the Songlord, but he would not take the challenge. I would ask Ser Brandon Buckler, who fought bravely that day, but I named him champion at Storm's End, denying him much hope for making it to the end. Ser Edrick is a worthy fighter, to be sure, but he was my young squire the day of the battle."
"I could ramble on about this knight or that, why they would be worthy but why I'd rather not choose them. But I'll cut to the chase. I'll leave the modesty for other times. I would like to stand as champion myself, and see how long I can last against the realm's best."

Baldwin nodded at Rhodri's recitation, "Good. Your brother never replied to my letter so I do not know who he wants to serve. Did he speak of it with you?" Lord Lannister rubbed at his beard for a moment.

Prince Elester moves from the cornen f the hall and joins the conversation with a confident smile on his face: "Ah, familiar faces. Ser Giles, Lord Sylas, Lady Elane! Pleasure to meet you again. We had some good time at Storm's End, so I expected to find you here and it seems that I was right."
Then he turns towards Lord Baldwin and Aerie Blackwood. " I don't recall your faces so let me introduce myself: I am Prince Elester Nymeros Martell from Sunspear and you must be Lord Baldwin and lady Aerie Blackwood."

Baldwin nodded at Rhodri's recitaion, "Good. Your brother never replied to my letter so I do not know who he wants to serve. Did he speak of it with you?" Lord Lannister rubbed at his beard for a moment. "Black Ben Tollett is here, and about as fierce a man you'll find in the Mountains of the Moon. He rode with Breyn to the Rock."

"Are you a relation of Horas Blackwood?"

She shrugged noncommittally, letting him take that victory. The man had a point, but, then, she was sure she had one as well, although it now slipped her mind. Aerie frowned at Ser Jast secrecy, irritated by his sudden close-mouthedness. "Fine then," she sniffed, "but that just means I shall have to find out for myself." She would, somehow. She watched him fad into the crowd and was surprised when she felt a bit disappointed. He can contributed to some interesting conversation, despite being rather rude, but then again, hadn't Horace said she was being unkind as well?

"Well met, Prince" Elane said. Ser Robert smiled and clapped Prince Elester on the back.

"Yes, I happen to be his cousin. My father is the supreme lord of house Blackwood. I have been away for a while, so there aren't many familiar faces in this crowd," she admitted. She glanced up to another approaching figure. He entroduced himself with gusto and Aerie smiled in reply. "Yes, indeed I am. It is a pleasure to be aquainted." (btw, lord Baldwin is playing Ser Jast in this little senario)

"You would be a great champion, my lord," Garrett said to Lord Rhodri.

Elane nodded briefly to Ser Jast. "When you have more time, my lady, you must meet my kin. That's my aunt Lilith over there with Ser Piers, and my cousin the Redroyce is standing with Lord Baldwin, as are my Redfort cousins. That's Lady Sara over there, my cousin and the wife of Allard Lannister. My other cousin, the Lord of the Vale, is at King's Landing, and I have other cousins abroad, but there are plenty of us Royces here for you to meet," she finished with another smile.

Elane hails Elena Plumm. The last time she saw the girl, Elena was a young thing learning how to nurse wounded soldiers; she looked splendid now on the arm of Jayson Plumm.

Lord Steffen Lannister enters the feast, accompanied by his wife Daena, and several other lords of the riverlands. He takes a seat, and begins to sip wine, observing all around him.

"I have all the time in the world," Aerie smiled, following Lady Royce's gestures with interest, filing away each name and face into the back of her mind for later reference. The lady did indeed have many kinsman. "I wish I could intorduce my kinsman, but I think you must already be familiar with them, and they are rather scattered throughout this hall. I did not travel with them here, so I am not sure who exactly from house Blackwood is here."
