"My lord, this is unseemly. Does the Lord of Lannister deign to speak with people such as these in his own hall? That one is a common sailor, the other's a hedge knight, and the brother and sister are peasants. Put them down on the trestle tables and set guards around them if it please you, but come away. There will be time to question them later, in private," Alliser beseeched Lord Baldwin.

OOC: I won't confirm or deny anything so far, but keep in mind that rumors aren't fact.

Shutup you stinking stag. *Stands by his uncle* Give us a reason to believe you, or better, a reason not to slay you where you stand. *The bastard of Riverrun Samwise Rivers backs Steffon up, clutching the hilt of his sword.*

Sensing trouble, Alliser catches Tommen's eye, and Tommen and Garrett Redfort stride over, as do Ser Raymund Corbray and Ser Hugh Trent and a Belmore knight.
OOC: The Vale knights were introduced in the Archery thread
IC: "This is absurd," Alliser muttered, eyeing the river knights who were clearly spoiling for a fight. "Do brawls commonly break out in the presence of the Lords of the westerlands and riverlands? Have we sunk so low as to betray guest right?"

OOC: I just have to say that it's so awesome that this thread has gone on for so long, kudos to Baldwin. What's also impressive is the amount of people here tonight.

"If your name was of no importance you would have given it immediately. The only reason I crave it so much, is because you mask it so hard. I intend you no harm, and none shall come to you unless you force the issue." Lord Baldwin's gaze still did not waver. "This child's game is becoming tiresome. Answer me or will have to continue this discussion.
The ten fully armed guards gather at the door to the feast hall looking curiously in.

Gideon Caron moved to the new "center" of the hall and eying the female companion, he asked for the Lord Lannister to end the interrogation. Hesitantly his father agreed, the Songlord cited the need for wine and good food above fights and blood.

"My name is Edric Storm, and this is my sister Sanna Storm. Are you happy with the interrogation, now?"

"Don't you have to be a guest before you receive guest right" Ser Eddard whispered to Donal "I'd love to see who signed their invitations" "Good job the Targs aren't here. They don't ask as nicely as Lord Lannister there" Donal replied, under his breath

"Happy, no. But you have done what I asked. This was in extremely poor taste. Welcome and enjoy." Baldwin glances at his men and they break off returning to food and dance.
Lord Baldwin strides toward the door where he has a whispered conversation with the new men. Two dispatch themselves to trail after the Storms from a discrete distance.
Ser Bardwyn Doggett hurries from the feast hall but the other eight men-at-arms station themselves along the wall out of the way.
Baldwin begins interrogating the guard from the kennels.

"Edric Storm," Garrett said in amusement. "Now there's a name that hasn't been heard for a few years. Whose bastard are you?"

Edmure swelled with relief, he had not thought of guest right, it turned out he would not have to intervene at all. And Tyrell was wrong, as long as one partook of the bread of another's in their hall they had the guest right.

Lord Steffen chuckles to himself at his uncles displeasure. He helps himself to more wine, and seeks out Aerie Blackwood. "My lady." He bows. "I have heard so much about you," (Aerie just left for the kennels to sniff out trouble. You are welcome to join her there, if you want :] I would reply, but I don't think it would to good to put her at 2 places at once =])
