The great stone walls of Casterly Rock are dotted with arrow slits, towers, and all manner of defensive mechanisms. They are currently crowded with lannister defenders and men at arms, waiting patiently for the battle.

Nealon Spear stared at the huge host spread out before them. There were too many, he knew. There only chance was to delay them untill reinforcements could arrive. He fingered his bow. It was not his weapon of choice, but it would be more useful than his sword in this fight. Reaching into his cloak, he pulled out a half full skin of ale, before pouring the contents down his throat, and tossing the rest to Miles.
"Drink that. It wont steady your hand, but it will steady your legs." He grimaced. Steffen was in that camp, and he had sworn to protect him all those years ago. Since it was the only oath he had ever made, he felt a duty deep down to keep it no matter what.
"Remember lads, shoot the ugly ones first. There the most dangerous." He laughed at that, and fired an arrow at an enemy scout who had ridden close to the wall. He missed, but the man turned tale immediately, hurrying back to the tents.
"See. They're not men. ARE YOU YOU POXED EUNUCHS!"

Baldwin walks along the walls wearing plain steel-gray armor that does not befit his station as Lord Lannister. These are still pockmarks and dents from the last time it was used. His shield is being carried by a squire, but his mace is slung from a cord.
Following him are Ser Bardwyn Doggett and Ser Jayson Plumm the two men who will be leading the vanguard of any attack. Occasionally one of the younger knights points out a matter of concern or point of interest.
Bardwyn stops with every man, or group and talks with them. Giving them advice, or making a joke, Bardwyn raises the spirit of almost every man he talks to.
After circulating the whole wall Baldwin looks at the men and declares, "Prepare your Roar!" His words spread around the whole walls, from man to man. And then the yelling starts. Not coherent words but just yells and shouts.
Stepping to the edge and staring down at the King's banner Baldwin snarls, "Hear Our Roar!"
The roars and jeers rain down on the Baratheon host for several moments. Lord Baldwin gives a rare smile and a nod and walks down the stairs deeper into the keep.

The roar can be heard even deep in the castle. It shakes the chandeliers in the ballroom.

Tiring of watching women's work down below, Selwyn Stone joins the defenders on the wall, clad in his armor and carrying his bastard-marked shield. (OOC: That's a "bend sinister" -- diagonal line to the left). He has a spear and sword.

Pate the archer was nobody. He was the fourth son of a drunken poacher but his drunken father had taught him how to shoot so today he was dressed in Lannister drab and standing beside a crenallation of the tallest tower of Casterly Rock. He roared until his throat was raw when he was told to give voice to the lion, he would stand attention until told to shoot and then would shoot until he dropped. If he made it through, maybe he would get up the courage to ask Maeve at the Silver Blade to marry him. She couldn't be as fearsome as the hordes that stretched before the wall, the men around the campfires that were waiting for the same commands he was waiting for. "Archers Release!"
He lifted his bow, nocked an arrow and stared down its shaft, letting it fly in his mind. He was nothing but his arrows would be part of this great battle. He just hoped he wouldn't feel the warm trickle of piss down his leg when arrows started coming towards him, that he could duck behind the crenallations often enough to save his sorry skin. He prayed to the Warrior, and the Smith, the Mother and the Maiden, to the Stranger, and to the old gods of the woods that his arrows would fly straight and that he would see dawn and another dawn.
