A woman in a roughspun dress limps through the nighttime market. The whole town is celebrating the wedding of their young lordling. She is carrying a basket of fresh flowers, and calling at different doors, trying to sell them.
In the shadows, five men watch her.

One of the men slips back after his walk, and shakes his head. "It's getting hard to walk around the city and look around," he said. "That damn Lord Hightower. And now that we're under siege, all the prices have risen. One of the bakers insisted on three stags for a loaf of bread, until I knocked him out and walked away with it."

"We're not here to steal, fool," another said. "But give us some of that bread all the same. I heard this morning that the young lion lordling disappeared after his wedding. No one seems to know how, why or where to."

With Hightower and Lannister soldiers fighting for Lannisport, fighting and dying and raping are daily fare. Armor and weapons have become more important than Lannister gold for the city's smallfolk.
The five men take over the smithy of an armorer who was killed by Hightower's men, one selling while the four others guard the smithy. Their weapons are in demand. A dagger that once cost 100 stags is now 300 stags, and the swords, shields, axes and mail are similarly more expensive.
"It's a pity we can't keep all this money," one says ruefully. "I loathe the idea of giving two thirds of it to them."
"Well don't worry," another replies. "They can keep their share. We won't have to steal our bread anymore."

This post takes place post-4YG.
An emissary from the Redroyce, Ser Mylos Morrigen, arrives to invite the Lords and Ladies of the Westerlands to Storm's End for the coming Tourney. Ser Mylos makes a point of going to Casterly Rock to pay his respects to the Great Lord of Lannister, and ask for him to nominate any Lions who might enter the tourney.

Absolutely. As the Lord Redroyce does not want to exclude followers of the Old Gods, knighthood is not a requirement for entry. The Lord Doran (the title Lord, btw, is accorded to all members of the Small Council whether or not they hold lands) is most welcome to accompany him to watch the tourney.
Please travel to the Tourney Grounds at Storm's End at your convenience!

OOC: This is the night of the first feast
IC: Edmure strode quickly through the streets of Lannisport, enjoying the darkness in such a way only a smuggler could. As he neared the docks he heard yelling and smelt smoke on the air. His walk became a run as he hurried towards the area where his ship was. He turned the corner and came to a halt. There was The Stranger amongst the other ships, burning. His face became grim and drawn, there was nothing to be down, the ship was too far gone.
At that moment one of the surviving crew men saw him and came running up and relaid the story of its burning to him. "Captain, there's one other thing, a couple hours before we found this on the deck. The crew member handed the note to Edmure, it read:
To Captian Edmure Seaworth of The Stranger,
You should flee immediately. People loyal to the Targaryen's plan to strike and murder the two 'Storm's you have carried here as passengers. Fleeing immediately with them is your only option.
Carry this message back to your masters. After a quest to the east, a way to slay dragons has been found. A true stag would find great interest in that.
Clear out this silly children before they get themselves Killed.
He looked at it and handed it back to the man, "tell me what it says, you know I can't read." The man relayed it and Edmure's face grew more and more grim. When the sailor had finished Edmure turned to him, "gather all the left over crew and whatever you managed to salvage from the ship here. I'm going back to the castle."

Ser Randal slowly meanders the streets of Lannisport after getting accomadations for his dozen men at arms that traveled with him to Lannisport.
He walks the streets, examining how the city has changed after he left several years ago.

OOC: You're off to a fine start. The downside is there aren't currently any Player Characters in Lannisport to talk to! Unless one of Baldwin's lackeys are about.

OOC: A lot of people are up north, but almost all of them are coming south again. Given what just happened in KL, King's Landing will probably be the place to be. That, and there will be some fighting in the Reach. Since Baldwin is the Hand, a good place to start might be checking with him in KL to see if he has in-character suggestions for his cousin.

The people of Lannisport have been growing wary of there king. Dark rumors of how Lord Baldwin had died were spreading, even though the guard had been taking any man caught speaking of them and questioned him.
Now, as tales of Stag armies on the approache, more and more people become slowly disgruntled. Even so, for every man that has rebelious thoughts there is a man who is loyal to Allard, or a man who lost something to the Stags. In the West, the balance of power is balanced on a blades edge.

Fresh foods from the Reach arrive, and the people enjoy newfound luxeries that were denied by Allard.
