Due to the ill timing of the winter and burning of King's Landing a terrible tragedy has occurred. Many fled the city after the dragon attack immediately; unaware that refugee camps were being built by the Baratheon. As the months have gone by many of these former residents are being found buried in the snow that covered them as they rested that horrible day. Every day another traveler to the Crownlands stumbles upon a frozen family from the capital.
With so many citizens of King's Landing burnt to death, and with many more freezing to death as they fled the city, dark rumors are being passed from one village to another. The are calling King's Landing the Dead City, where only those who wish to die live.
