Fearing more raids, many noble families have been locking up their daughter's virtue in booby-trapped cast iron chastity belts. Many an ironborn raider has lost hands (or even more intimate portions of their anatomy) as they have tried to remove them

While some daughters have appreciated the protection, others are reported to be really pissed
