So now that it's over, what did everyone think of how the show ended? I was a little disappointed with the pacing and the apparently laziness of storytelling that seeped into the last season, but there were enough incredible moments to satisfy me overall, I think.

I'd love to hear what some of the rest of you thought about it

Describing it as a storytelling clusterfuck would be far too generous. It was the narrative version of your dad leaving to buy a pack of smokes and never coming back. D&D had lost all interest, and seemed to really want to make that clear.

Visually spectacular at times. Music was good but probably not as good as season seven.

I haven't truly enjoyed the show since series 4 but series 8 was a new low, even worse than series 5.
