Sometimes I like to hop on here and comb through the archives. It strikes me how vast they are--
8,093 threads. 163,290 posts. An alternative timeline, our very own history of Westeros... Back when A Dance with Dragons was but a dream.
Looking back, it's amazing this forum started in 2007. And to think, the #9 all-time poster was Lord Rhodri Arryn, who by all recorded accounts was only active for a single year, yet clocked in at an amazing 6,759 posts.
I think we should create a project... A timeline, a brief record of events ranging from the very beginnings of Lords of Westeros, up to the most recent roleplaying. I'd love to see our history organized into a single thread.
The beginnings were before my time, and as such I know very little about Callen Baratheon and his taking the Iron Throne, and embarrassingly enough I don't even believe I would be able to give very expansive detail about the history I took part in. Ser Tytos Blackwood was a knight of the Kingsguard, and yet I do not even remember what king I swore to protect.
So clearly, to create this history, I hope that others will see this and chime in, so that we can work on this. I think we would all love to see this done. Because few of us now remember how it began, I think.
