Her mother was Celenya Velaryon of House Velaryon of Driftmark and perished on childbed. This makes Jahaerys, Aegon, and Alysanne the last Targaryens because their family size has shrinked. Though the Targaryens ruled for centuries, their power has ceased because of a historical war. However, the surrender was peaceful and they bent the knee, allowing for her family to maintain the ancestral seat of dragonstone. There are no signs of dragons anymore because of their extinction. However, the blood of the dragon flows through them.
