A large tavern built by the bastard son of a septon and his mother, a former tavern wench. The tavern has been standing for many years now. Its sign bears the banner of the Faith. Inside, it is all dark wooden tables and chairs. Sometimes a local bard will perform for the patrons. The tavern caters mostly to lower ranking nobles, up and coming merchants and those dedicated to the Faith though occasionally the higher ranking might make their way here. Ruffians, thieves and whores are strictly forbidden.

Gyles arrives soon enough. But this time he was garbed as a knight, not as a septon, though his seven-coloured belt is draped across his shoulder. His surcoat bears no sigil, being plain white. A few others come with hi, mostly armoured men, but one man is a septon and there is a woman garbed in a septa's robe.
"Ser Leyton. I hope nobody gave you trouble on the way here?"

"No, none were foolish enough to do so." Leyton replied. He too had changed, into chain mail over which a tunic with the Hightower sigil was placed. His sword hung at his side, although he had left his shield and the rest of his possessions in his just rented room. "I am Ser Leyton Hightower." He offered by way of introduction, standing out of respect as Gyles' party entered.

An Older looking hedge knight, wearing tattered ring mail beneath a tabard featuring A Red Cock balanced on a knight's shield stepped forward. He coughed sightly, revealing missing teeth.
"This the place?" he asked.

"Aye, it is. Friend, this is Ser Leyton Hightower, a southron knight," said Gyles as the other members of the group seated themselves. "We come here to discuss petitioning the High Septon."

"Petition him for what?" The old knight replied, sitting down, cautiously lifting his leg over the bench as though it pained him some.

"We hope to reinstate the Warrior's Sons and the Poor Fellows," said Gyles. "We hope such will see a rise in the faithful."

Leyton favoured the man with a nod in answer to his query, before he returned to his seat and watched impassively as Septon Gyles explained their goals. He made eye contact with the crowd around Gyles and motioned for them to seat themselves as they saw fit.

"Ain't up to the High Septon," the old man replied, "That's the King's Law."

"And you believe that the Queen would deny the request of the High Septon himself?" Leyton looked unimpressed. "I for one do not believe that she is strong enough to do so, nor do I imagine she wishes to pit herself against the will of the faithful."

The Old man looked at Gyles for a moment as if to say, "is the young boy serious?"

Gyles gave the tiniest of shrugs in answer to the old knight.
"We shall approach the High Septon and then, if he approves our intentions, the Queen herself. I imagine the High Septon will be willing, though we cannot know the Queens mind until we speak with her."

"I suppose that's a plan, father protect," the old hedge knight agreed.

"We are no longer needed here in the North. So it will serve us well to consider the interests of the Faith elsewhere. A wise man learns to pick his battles, and we would risk breaking the queen's peace if we stayed."
