All the folk of Winterfell are summoned to the keep's Godswood, to witness Lord Eirek's judgment in the matter of Ser Timmett Manderly's attack on his person. Eirek stands before the heart tree, sword unsheathed and planted in the ground next to him.

Timmett is brought up from the dungeons, still in chains, by a pair of guards. He is made to kneel before Lord Stark.

Time to kneels and growls at Eirik.

One of the guards cuffed him on the head to shut him up before Eirek spoke.
"Timmett Manderly, you are accused, and hereby found guilty, of attacking your liege lord in cold blood. This is a grave offense, one that carries with it a sentence of death. But I have chosen to allow you to live, and give your wretched life some value in service to the Night's Watch."

Timmett replied, "You are a poor thief Eirik. I hear you failed to steal my lands away from my family." He scowled at the Stark.

Eirek did not deign to answer Timmett, instead turning a cold stare on Hornwood. "Control yourself. My judgment has been made." He said to the lord calmly. "A man of the Night's Watch is as good as dead, to the rest of us. He certainly won't be poaching your lands any longer."
He then addressed the guards. "Find him some black clothes. Keep him in chains. A half-dozen men will escort him to Castle Black at dawn."

Eirek gestured at Timmett. "He doesn't seem terribly honored. And you are treading on the line of insulting me as well, Lord Hornwood."

"Apparently you would be honored if I did."
Eirek addressed the crowd.
"My judgment has been made. Return the prisoner to his cell until it is time for him to leave."
He turned and made his way out of the Godswood, pointedly ignoring Hornwood.
