White Sword Tower contains the chambers of the Kingsguard. It is a slender structure of four stories built into an angle of the castle wall overlooking the bay. A circular white room, known as the Round Room, has whitewashed stone walls hung with white woolen tapestries, and forms the first floor. A large white table (weirwood carved in the shape of a shield) with seven chairs provides a meeting space for the order. The undercroft holds arms and armor, the second and third floors the small spare sleeping cells of the six brothers of the Kingsguard, and the topmost floor is given over to the Lord Commander's apartments. His rooms are spare as well, but spacious, and they stand above the outer walls.

"Lord Commander." he said, with an incline of his head, having great respect for the man and position that often denoted the finest knight in the realm. "I thank you for seeing me."

"I come to request a favor, ser." he cut straight to the purpose of his visit, knowing the time of the Kingsguard was valuable. "The other night, at one of the parties thrown in her honor, Her Grace mentioned a desire for the solace of a walk in the Kingswood, which had been denied her for some time. I come to see if such a brief outing might be arranged, with your assistance of course"

"Of course. Her wish is our command. Just let me know when, and I will have the appropriate force to guide the two of you." Rickon replied.

Oswyn tried and failed to hide the surprise from his face. He had come here expecting a fight on his hands.
"I thank you." he said gratefully. "I will inform Her Grace of the good news in short order."

"Lord Commander. Greetings. I am wondering if you might be free for a moment to share a bottle of wine with me."
He produced a bottle of Arbor Gold.

"I do not drink." Stark replied quietly. He studied Gwayne, and then asked, "What do you want to know of the Queen?"

"Keep the bottle, nonetheless," Gwayne offered. "I am sure you can gift it to a friend on some fine occasion. But I do need your help. I am sorry go go through such channels, but I fear it is necessary. I would like to arrange an event for the queen's pleasure, but it must be done in secret, to surprise Her race. But I quite understand that it is necessary for you to know of the queen's doings, and to arrange for her protection. So I am hoping you will help me."
