She looked straight at him, all her mischief gone. "How so? I am not sure I understand why the lower classes have anything to do with the court. After all, the people in the low streets are hardly the same as the servants of the Red Keep."

"But they suffer the effects. A cutting remark between petty lords leads to fighting and small folk do the dying. The master of coin raises taxes to pay for nobles to attend parties. And so on..." Ser Finn smiled, "I suppose it is my base nature. It makes me sympathetic to them."

Izzy smiled sweetly at him. "I'm sorry I can't understand that, because my own situation is different to your own. I never thought about how things affect the smallfolk. Perhaps that is wicked of me, but we can only live with what we know. "

"Surely not," Finn said, "but that's what disguises are for," he grinned wickedly.

Izzy raised an eyebrow. "What sort of disguises? When I was a little girl I used to borrow things from my mother and pretend to be a great lady. And then she got angry with me when I borrowed a maid's dress."

"You'll be safe I assure you," Ser Finn replied, "and I agree... talking is not always best. Shall we proceed?" He asked, offering his arm.

Izzy didn't take his arm. "You want to go right now? But will it not cause offence to leave the coronation? My absene might be noted!"

Finn laughed, "Alright then. Meet me at a house off Fishmonger's square. When you are free" he gave her directions.

"I will," she promised. "I would very much like to come, but I cannot afford to offend the queen. I am hoping to make my life at court now."

After being released and receiving the message, Edric went to the Godswood to meet Eirek there. "Brother," he called from afar, making his way over. He did not seem too happy.

Eirek smiled when he heard Edric, walking towards him and taking his brother in a hug. "Good to see you. They didn't treat you too poorly, I trust."
