"It's simple, really. We send a small force in secretly, they scale the walls at night, open the gates to let in the discontented Bear Islanders, and put the Ironborn to the sword."

"And are you planning on leading this attack yourself?" Bolton asked, and all could tell by his tone that he did not think Eirik would dare do such a thing.

"I doubt the bloody dragons will give a fig about the Ironborn," Karkstark said. "Toss them a few fancy words and they'l doubtless be appeased."

"Skulduggery is not my strength. I rather thought that sneaking about in the dark, killing men unawares was more in your province, Bolton. But since you're clearly not interested in the honor, by all means I will lead it."

"Of course!" she said, smoothing her dress down as she sat in the chair he offered. She let her hair fall over her face to hide a blush when he told her she was beautiful. She was determined to keep him at arms length til she was more sure of him. "So, well, after this feast I thought maybe you could show me around the castle," Damon suggested. "I have barely seen any of Winterfell, though I have heard so many stories about it."

You'll have the men of Last Hearth with you, my Lord!" he said, glowering at the cowardly Bolton worm who dare speak that way to his liege lord. "Aye, and more besides!" he said, looking around at the other lords to see who would be next to offer their support and note those who would not.

"The men of Karhold will do their duty," Lord Karstark said bluntly.

The doors burst open sending a cold gust of wind into the hall, in walks a one Craster Crowl, the current Lord Crowl of Skagos, he is wearing bear furs over what one can only assume is a unicorn skin due to its gnarled yet fluffly looking texture. He smiles at those in the hall showing off a mouth with very little teeth with those teeth remaining looking mutated and stained a dark red.

Karstark grinned at Crowl. "Have a seat, man!" He raised his horn of ale in salute to the savage man from Skagos.

Crowl grins and approaches the Karstark man and sits next to him, "I heard there was to be a feast." He said grabbing a horn of ale from one of the random men sitting at the table and taking it for his own. "I brought a gift." He says pulling out from under his heavy furs what looked eerily like a human leg and setting it down on the table.

"Crowl..." Urdnot muttered frowning and clenching his fists.

"Many thanks, Lord Crowl," Eirek answers, forcing down his concern at what in the hell that gift was, "Please, sit. We were just discussing how to retake Bear Island."

A lesser man from the south might have recoiled at Crowl's gift but Karstark burst out laughing.

"Easy." Crowl claims loudly, "Let Crowl swim there and bash in the heads of those Copper Pussies, Crowl hold big feast afterwards." He says grinning wildly slamming his hand down on the table.

Lord Boras Quagg entered the preceding, a pungent odor following the crannogmen as he made his way through the crowd. Unusually tall and gaunt, swamp life had never seemed to agree with Lord Boras' complexion. Much of his skin was covered with benign skin lesions, giving the lord a moldering appearance. Large while scale of psoriasis covered the back of his neck and scalp, the flakes of skin making it appear as if he had always just stepped in from a heavy snowstorm. His nails were discolored from fungal infections and palms peeling from severe eczema.
Despite his maladies, Lord Boras was known to be extremely competent with poisoned arrows and an infamous whoremonger.
Spotting Elyssa Stark in the crowd, he made his way near her. Rather than actually greet the pretty young girl, he simply stood uncomfortably close behind her, breathing heavily.
