"Perhaps if you face me in the yard I can show it to you," Damon replied, his voice a little more serious.

Balthazar laughed, "I do not fight that way lad. I deal with my enemies outside of the combat yard."

A Stark guard found Elyssa and Damon.
"My lady, ser, Lord Stark has ordered that you meet him at the White Gate. We leave for Winterfell as soon as we can."

"That sounds good," Damon said to the guard, extending his arm to Elyssa.
"I hope you have a fine day," He said to Balthazar, wondering if he would be stabbed in the night.

/////
As the sun rises any citizens of white harbour who are awake will notice a procession of around 200 I'll armed men moving through the city streets. They are headed by various Septons, and two knights, one young and the other elderly. The young knight is the best garbed of the group, and rays of morning light dance upon it. He bears the Hightower colors upon his chest.
(OOC: The Faithful depart White Harbour, travelling in the direction of Moat Cailin)

Brother Braumin walked down the streets of White Harbor, keeping an eye out for the Septon known as Gyles, whom he had been told where out on the streets giving blessings to those in White Harbor that worshiped the Seven. The group of Faithful had returned a few days ago and they were beginning to outstay their welcome in the city, especially now that their small supplies were running out.

Gyles' people had no coin or food to offer to the people, since they were rather poor themselves, but they could offer prayers, so Braumin found them in the poor quarter, offering prayers and comfort to the beggars. He saw Gyles sitting beside a one-legged man, listening to him tell about the war in the Stepstones.

Braumin stopped and looked at the brothers, septons and septas giving the poor some comfort. He understood that there wasn't much else for them to do since Lord Stark had forced them to return to White Harbor, but they wouldn't be allowed refuge here much longer either. He remained in his spot until the one-legged man had finished talking, understanding that the septon wouldn't give him the time of day until he had finished giving the poor man his time and words.
"Septon Gyles, have you managed to get a raven off to the boy's family or the Queen? I do not wish to be a bringer of bad news, but soon we'll be no different than the beggars you are comforting here unless we find some way to get the boy back or find a boat willing to take us south."

Gyles spotted Braumin and politely excused himself to the beggar with an apology that he could do no more than listen. Then he looked sadly at Braumin. "My friend, I have no ravens. The only way to get a raven is to go to the Merman's Court. But the Manderlys were Stark men until recently, and many of their guards may still be Stark men. White Harbor is a godly city but some of its people may worship the Old Gods. Do you believe they will let the likes of us in to see the lord and his maester? I am not so sure. Look at us, we are a raggle-taggle band of travellers."

Braumin nodded, understanding the predicament they were in and that he should have figured that the Septon hadn't been able to get a raven off south yet. He scratched his chin as he tried to think of something they could do to get into meet with the Maester. Braumin wasn't comfortable leaving such a young boy in the clutches of the Starks. Young minds could be easily changed if left in the company of bad people too long.
"You are a Septon, are you not? I thought that the Manderlys were faithful followers of the Seven, and shouldn't such people wish to aid those that speak with the words of the gods? We may not have much, but we are at least true to ourselves and that says a lot, Gyles." he said and looked at the others that spoke to the poor, which suddenly gave him an idea. "These poor people could maybe used to gain some information about the guards since I am sure that the guards have been more than unkind to these people; those that have security is often afraid of those that have less than them, afraid that these poor people are trying to take what they have from them. It's either that, or I guess someone has to try and free the boy from the Starks."

"Perhaps you are right," Gyles allowed. "It is clear that we cannot stand against the Starks, not with the men we have. So, yes, we shall have to get into the castle. You are right that the Manderleys are among the Faithful - that was the cause of the conflict, after all - but, well, I find that many people look upon me less favourably as a septon than when I was a knight."

"Then why don't you remove the robe as a Septon and dress like a knight instead? I do understand that you have left that life behind you a long time ago, but sometimes we have to do what we have to in order to get what we need to be able to help others." Braumin said and looked at the Septon. "And if we won't be able to get into the castle here, maybe we have to try and save the boy ourselves from the faithless Starks that have kidnapped him."

"Attempting to save the boy will be taken as an act of war, after we have already agreed to be peaceable," Gyles replied. "But you are right, I had thought of going to the Merman's Court in my mail but I feared it would be dishonest. I have prayed to the Warrior for guidance regarding the matter, but he did not answer. Until now. I shall take your advice as a sign from the Warrior himself."

Braumin nodded.
"Sometimes I think that the gods wish us to think for ourselves and that is why they do not always answer our prayers. Do you wish me to accompany you there or do you wish to do this yourself?"

"It will look better if I have an escort, and might ask in the name of the Faith, so you'd best come with me."
