"Don't know. A handful?" Edric offered, wondering why on earth would she think he had all the answers.

[The Smith]

"I do have more friends then I can fit in my hand." Rose replied. She looked around slightly awkwardly trying to think of something to say. "So wolves... They are nice."

[Edric Stark]

"Have you met any?" he asked, and thought of Havoc. "I have one up North. Perhaps one of my siblings will come back down with him, you could see for yourself."

[The Smith]

"I have met you." Rose replied, and then said, "Wait.. you mean like wolf wolf?"

[Edric Stark]

"Oh, I'm nice?" he realised, smiling at her now that he had more or less caught up with them. "Well.. yes. He is more of a direwolf, really. Big and scary. Not that nice, which is why I was wondering."

[The Smith]

"I would like to met him." Rose replied, "I love dogs... is he at all like a dog?"

[Edric Stark]

"In some ways, I suppose. He is very loyal," Edric said, but that was the only thing he could think of. "To me. Perhaps some day you will."

[The Smith]

Rose said, "Isn't it incredibly awkward when you first met some one? I can never think of the right thing to say."

[Edric Stark]

"It can be," he said, although this was usually not the case for him. "I think what people just do is talk about petty things or keep quiet. Sometimes you find something in common with others and it gets less awkward." The way he spoke made it seem like it was something he'd read somewhere rather than experienced himself.

"More so than usually," he admitted. "How am I doing?"

He looked at the city's walls ahead. "Do you really want to walk all the way back? We would not be back before sunset and by then, I am pretty sure they will think you have gone missing."

[The Smith]

"Are you suggesting we run?" Rose raised an eyebrow.

[Edric Stark]

"Or we could just.. use the horses," Edric offered. "I assume you did not run all the way here?"

[The Smith]

"Do they have sarcasm in the north? Or is it just full of snow and wolves?" Rose asked as she mounted her horse.
