Aurane escorted Prince Evan to the lavish manse, choosing to sit in the Purple Room. Two pretty serving girls sat down beside the lord of the Rock, one feeding him grapes, while the other poured wine.
"Please sit, be at home." He said to Martell.

Evan watched the girls and sat as Aurane had asked him. "I am sure you can feed yourself",He stated then waited for the girls to leave. "I am sorry Aurane but what I have to say it may not be important to your ears but it is to mine."

Aurane gave a faint smile as one of the girls passed him a glass of wine. "Privacy, of course. And here I supposed a resident of Sunspear would be used to opulence." He turned to the serving girls. "Out with you."
They quickly scuttled off and closed the door.
"Now then..." Aurane offered.

"Yes I do enjoy my share", he smirked,"but not today."
He watched the girls leave, and then close the door. "I hear rumors about Casterly Rock setting up more guards, making the walls more sturdy.. For what I thought when I first heard it", he shrugged,"I thought nothing of it, everyone needs more protection now and again, but when I heard that Casterly Rock you maybe setting up to host the Exile Prince, I almost fell from my chair."
He then looked at Aurane,"Is it true?"

Aurane studied the Prince intensely for a long moment before sipping from his wine. "I have spent the last three months in the Stepstones with a host of men, fighting for the crown; I have not been to Casterly Rock in six, leaving Doreah in charge." He set his wine down and brushed his fingers across the rim of the glass.
"Even if I were to be in the know of all the goings on in my home at current, would I openly admit to betraying the crown?"

"I know, Lyssa has been there as well." He shook his head,"And Doreah is in charge of Casterly Rock...". Evan stared at him,"Aurane.. This is the reason I wanted you two to come to Dorne."
He sighed deeply,"I would not count it treason, if I was to tell you that House Martell or Dorne would stand here with you in your cause, but maybe I am speaking too fast." Evan watched him,"I have always been in good favor of your marriage to Doreah... And it still stands as such."
"I feel that I can trust you, especially with my sister and your children."

"And that is what you wish to discuss in Dorne," Aurane stated, looking down at his wine. "I shall wait in the city then for Doreah and then join you in Sunspear."

Evan nodded, he was not one to openly convey his thoughts to anyone outside of his family but this was a chance he could not miss, if it had merit.
"Alright, I see my grandson once more and then I will leave tomorrow. I will send word to Lyssa to that our "talk" has been on one accord" He finished his wine quickly then looked at his brother in law,"Aurane I understand your position, I do not want to put any of us in danger iwth me words, but this is important to know that we are looking at this in the same light."
He waited to hear the Lion's response, before he made his choice to leave...

She found him sitting in the Gold Room, sitting by the fire and reading a book, a glass of Northern brandy on a table next to him. He was facing away, so did not see her enter.

Doreah stepped on quiet feet toward him, reaching out to lay a hand on his shoulder. "Aurane." She gave it a brief squeeze.
