6) Character Personal History: Born the second son of Lord Edrick Stark and his wife Lady Alys Stark from House Dustin in the year 671, it was not a easy birth and Damin's mother would never truly recover from the complications during the birth and would pass two years later. Damin grew quickly and by the age of 8 was a big child. The young boy was unruly and often in fights with any other children finally after taking a swing at his own father Edrick beat the boy then sent him to Karhold to foster with Lord Jon Karstark. There Damin's life changed, with the middle aged Lord a powerful man who believed in discipline and training. Each morning the young child along with the other boys of Karhold were roused ate first light to begin each day with a run through the forests close to Karhold, this was followed by lessons often from Lord Jon himself or the Maester of Karhold. Damin flourished under this new cause and quickly grew into a fine young man when he was finally sent home at the age of 15. Lord Jon's last words was something that Damin would remember for his life.
Upon his return Damin could finally begin to know his family again that had grown much larger with many half sibling. At the age of 19 Damin's father was died in his sleep and Eirek became Lord of Winterfell. That same year the Stark house traveled to King's Landing for mourning and coronation of King Maerys Targaryen. Damin did not enjoy the city but enjoyed meeting some of the other lords and ladies, plus he celebrated with his family as they joined families together with House Royce. This is when the War of the Stepstones began. Lord Stark along with his brother both went over with the first of the warriors of the North and the fighting was extremely fierce but Aenys Targaryen was a skilled tactician. Damin was not there to fight alongside Ser Hugh Hightower but the man wished he had. As the war continued for a number of years Edrick had to return to Winterfell often to governor as he should leaving Damin in command to continue the war effort. With the War of the Stepstones almost over Damin now wonders what he shall continue his life with.
7) Character Physical Description: Damin stands at 6'1 with a rich brown coloring of his hair and the grey eyes of the Starks. Favoring the sword as his weapon Damin has lead a life of combat and his body shows this. The long years of fighting have hardened the man. With a light beard upon his face and keep his hair short while on campaign.
8) Character Reputation: Where is brother is know as a thinker Damin is the strong right arm of House Stark. A decent swordsman and commander.
