Donal Storm stands with the sunset to his back, on his left is his half brother, Ser Oswyn Baratheon with his half uncle Ser Yohn positioned at Oswyn’s right. All three men look off in the distance to the Tyroshi ship that they had been trailing for the better part of the day. With the sun setting Yohn signals to his sailors to loosen the sails more in order to pick up more speed, in order to try and catch the ship before the sun went below the horizon. Once close enough to the other boat Yohn signals again with a loud call to signal the start of the charging speed to be able to pull up alongside the ship.
Donal stands back from the edge of the ship and un straps his bow from his back, though he can not see from his vantage point he can here several other members of the group getting bows and crossbows ready. After a couple of more minutes of the ships playing keep away the other ship decides to loose their own arrows at the Stormlander ship, Donal and Oswyn stand on the deck while the arrows ark through the sky and descend upon the ship, though very few managed to gain the distance needed to the ship those that did found either the leather of the crew while the rest embedded themselves into the wooden decking and the side of the ship. After their volley, Donal lets loose his own arrow and the rest of those in the crew who had readied arrows let loose as well. The arrow that Donal had fired flew straight and after a couple of seconds Donal is able to see his mark; the ships helmsman crumple to the ground due to the new appendage sprouting from his shoulder. In the resulting scramble of getting an adequate person on hand to take the ship’s wheel Yohn was able to deftly pull his ship alongside the others causing the archers to quickly drop their bows and pull out their hand-to-hand combat weapons.
Ropes and step ladders are being thrown in between the two ships by the time that Donal and Oswyn are on the side of the ship, Donal goes first holding his spear out while Oswyn comes up behind him bellowing orders and brandishing his mace in preperation for the oncoming fight. What followed was the usual fight in which heavily trained men and warriors collided with half trained men who usually only won because they had the element of surprise and a savagery that entitled them to attack poor villages and lonely ships. In the middle of the bloodbath stood Donal Storm and Oswyn Baratheon each with numerous dead pirates surrounding the two brothers, each with very different tactics concerning how best to take the ship, the approach that Oswyn took was of a straightforward barbarian whose main goal in life was to free the brain matter of his opponents from the captivity that was the skull, though this method was efficient the mess that it left behind was nothing short of spectacular. The color of recently dislocated brain matter made the very air itself shine with a pinkish gray mist that when combined with the saltiness of the ocean air made the Storm god quiver in his hall. The fighting style that Donal used on the other hand was the direct counterpart to his half-brother, where Oswyn utilized a sophisticated savagery with the proficiency in which he used his mace, Dolan with his spear was the image of grace, every move he made had a purpose, whether or not he was pushing an enemy’s weapon out of the way with the body of the spear or cleaving through the soft jugular of his opponent, though he was not capable of dealing out extensive damage to multiple opponents in the shortest time span, Donal was capable of injuring and crippling an opponent by knowing exactly where to send the tip of his spear to leave his opponent a crumpled heap of flesh that could only whimper at the pain and the inability to move his body.
When the crew of the pirate ship where either disposed of or surrendered Donal, Oswyn and Yohn stood on the enemy ship looking around at the carnage that had erupted on board of the ship that they had just captured. The three family members smiled to each other at a good days work and began the preparations for getting the ships manned together to sail back to the base to resupply the ship and get it manned fully.
