Background:
Gwayne is the eldest son of Lord Lothar Hightower, by his wife Annara of House Redwyne. He spent his early years at the Hightower under the eye of the castle's maester and master-at arms. He learned to read and write and to do figures, and does them well enough, but he much preferred learning to ride and fight with sword and lance. He spent a lot of time in those early years with his siblings and cousins, but, when he was 11 he went to squire for Lord Tarly at Horn Hill, remaining there until his coming of age at 16. He then returned home and spent two years learning his duties as future lord of the Far Reach, entered his first tourney and finally becoming knighted on his 18th nameday.

Thereafter he took the 12 year old ward Torrhen Stark for his squire, and led men in the war in the Stepstones.

When the war was halted for a time, Gwayne travelled Westeros with his squire. He entered tourneys and helped host lords slay bandits and hunted boar and deer, and bedded women where he felt like it too.

When his father died, Gwayne became lord of Oldtown and Lord Paramount of the Far Reach. He has been kept busy by his many duties and various pleasures, taking some time to rule the Hightower when the war permitted, though otherwise his mother rules as his regent. Gwayne has a paramour, Violet of Blackcrown, with whom he has two small sons, but has not yet found a wife. He is now ready to start looking, as soon as the war is over.

Appearance:
Gwayne is tall and handsome with broad shoulders and a slender yet muscular physique. He has short black hair and typically has a bit of stubble but never a full beard.

History:

Isabel's childhood was fairly uneventful. She spent her earliest years at the Hightower before fostering at the Eyrie for a few years, and then returning to the Hightower whilst on the cusp of womanhood.

She spent some time perfecting the ladylike arts under her mother's guidance before being married at 16 to Ser Tommen Tyrell, a knight of the Mander Reach and son to Lord Tyrell. The two had a fairly happy marriage and Isabel gave birth to a son two years into the marriage.

Tommen died a year ago, fighting in the Stepstones. With her two eldest brothers also participating in the war, Isabel returned home six months later to take care of her mother and rule as her brother's regent when Annara fell sick. Her son Rycherd remains at Highgarden. Annara is recently recovered so Isabel has gone to court to acquaint herself with her late husband's royal kin.

Appearance: Isabel is tall and beautiful, with black hair and blue eyes. She is a curvy lady who knows exactly how to dress to show off her figure.

History:

Niece to the current Lord Florent, Alys spent her early childhood at Brightwater Keep with her family but when she was eight, she was sent to be fostered at Oldtown with her cousins, Lord Hightower's daughters. There she learned to use the longbow and cherished the hours spent riding. She hated needlework and was always sneaking off to watch the boys fight.Although she is close to Perianne and Rohanne, she also spent a lot of time with her cousin Lancel, and took great pleasure in besting him at archery. She has often wished she were allowed to go to war with Gwayne and Gareth.

Appearance:

Alys is a pretty blonde girl of average height. She has a willowy figure and is toned from long hours spent in the saddle or with her longbow.

Name: Lady Annara Hightower nee Redwyne

Age: 48

Region: Far Reach

Background:

Annara grew up at the Arbor as the beloved daughter of Lord Hightower. She married Lothar Hightower aged 18, with whom she has 6 children. Her husband's companion and trusted counsellor, Annara has played a vital role in the life of Oldtown for thirty years. She has been a tireless advocate in the marriages of her two eldest daughters and is more than ready for her other children to be married as well.

After her husband's death, Annara has largely acted as regent for her son Gwayne when his duties took him away from the Hightower. She fell ill a while ago and has been cared for by her daughter Isabel, until her recent recovery and resumption of her role as regent.

Appearance:

Annara is a tall, statuesque woman with milk-pale skin, pale blue eyes and freckles. While she is not the most obviously beautiful woman her her high cheekbones, wide eyes and full lips give her a particular attraction which command attend. At almost fifty, her red hair is now streaked with silver and no longer quite as bright as it once was. Age is taking its toll on her skin and figure, but her corsets and carefully structured gowns keep her breasts in place as if she were a younger woman. She is currently a bit drawn from recent illness which knocked off some of the weight she had gained in recent years, so she still maintains a curvy figure. She favours fine dresses in bright colours, with blue, silver and purple being her particular favourites. She is, however, still an attractive mature lady.

Background:

Perianne is the middle daughter of Lothar and Annara Hightower. She was raised at the Hightower with her sister Rohanne, her brother Lancel and her cousin Alys Florent, as well as her cousin Leyton before he went to foster at Casterly Rock. Her mother considers her the sweetest of the Hightower children. She loves books and romance and has a special affinity for animals of all kinds. She often takes care of injured animals.

Appearance:

Perianne is of an average height and build, with her mother's large breasts, and a pretty face with a sprinkle of freckles across her cheeks. Her hair is paler than Annara's with a hint of gold where it has caught the sun.

Name: Lord Symon Florent

Age: 48

Region: Far Reach

Background: Symon Florent is Lord of Brightwater Keep. As a boy he squired for Lord Varner and then spent some years at Lord Hightower's court at Oldtown. Some time later he travelled to Kings Landing where he became a part of the royal court, spending most of his time there as a courtier while his brother Gregor rules Brightwater in his stead. He is usually to be found embroiled in some plot or other, or else in a brothel, tavern or gambling den.

Appearance:

Symon is still handsome despite the passage of the years. His hair is still mostly brown but the temples are grey. His features are slightly sharp. He loves fine, expensive clothing.

Name: Ser Jaime Bulwer

Age: 36

Region: Far Reach

Background: Ser Jaime Bulwer is relatively unknown, except in his role as friend and companion to his cousin, Lord Florent, for whom he squired. He led a small troop of cavalrymen during the early part of the war on the Stepstones but failed to distinguish himself. For unknown reasons, he retired to Blackcrown a few years ago and is rarely seen in company except for occasional visits to Oldtown or Kings Landing.

Appearance: Jaime is a short man with red hair and brown eyes, otherwise unremarkable.

Name: Ser Robert Florent

Age: 20

Region: Far Reach

Background:

Growing up at Brightwater Keep, Robert hated lessons in the classroom and lived for the time spent in the training yard. He consequently made a very bad student of mathematics, languages, geography and history, but a very good student of swordcraft, riding, the lance and archery. He is at his happiest when out in the open.

When the war began in the Stepstones, his father sent him to squire for their kinsman, Jaime Bulwer. He was knighted at 15 for valour in the field, when he saved Ser Jaime's life. He has done well, earning a reputation as a fierce and brave fighter, though frequently reckless. It's often been said of him that the Warrior himself must have been protecting him. A year ago he took control of his own company of knights and infantrymen from Brightwater Keep. The years have served to make him more confident and reckless, much to his father's concern.

Appearance:

Robert is a tall, handsome young man with his father's brown hair and eyes, though fortunate enough to lack the famous Florent ears. He dresses conservatively in dark attire and rarely wears jewels. He is never seen without a sword at his side. His detractors often joke he sleeps with the blade.

Background:

Amanda is the widow of a knight of House Rhysling. She has several children, all in their teens. She is now a friend to Evan Martell

Amanda is an attractive woman with a penchant for low cut dresses. She has an Andal appearance with very pale hair and skin.

Age: 23

Region: Mander

Background: Dickon belongs to a minor Reach house, a younger son of a younger son. He was fostered at Highgarden as a boy and took service with Lord Tyrell, moving to Highgarden to remain with his lord. He is a decent warrior but boasts that he is more skillful than he actually is. He claims to be the best sword, the best lance and the best lover in all of the Seven Kingdoms..

Appearance:

Dickon is exceptionally handsome, tall and broad-shouldered, muscular with long legs. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He favours fine clothing, usually cut tight across his torso and thighs to show off his figure.

Name: Septon Gyles

Age: 41

Region: Crowlands

Background: DGyles was once a fierce knight, though of no particular renown. He is now a septon and devoted to his Faith. Leader of a band of sparrows, he dreams of ressurrecting the Warrior's Sons and the Poor Fellows.

Appearance:

Gyles is a big, burly man, well-muscled, because he still practices with sword and mace. He has a short beard, neatly cropped, though his hair is thinning on the top of his head. He is commonly seen wearing a septon's robes.
