Character Personal History:

Robert was born at the Bloody Gate in 678 A.L, the first son of Ser Malcolm Royce and his wife Amya Royce. His first two years were spent at the Bloody Gate with his mother and father and the guards that manned the gate to the Vale. In 680 A.L, he traveled with his parents, uncles and cousins to King's Landing for the wedding between Prince Maerys Targaryen and Benedicta Tyrell, where his father secured a fostering with the House Stark of Winterfell. For the next three years, his father and mother spent several hours with him, tutoring him on how to behave, talk and other small skills that they thought the boy would need to know to not embarrass House Royce when Robert would arrive at Winterfell.

At Winterfell, Lord Edrick Stark received the five-year old boy and began his rigorous fostering, alongside his own children. In the next few years, Robert spent learning how to care for himself in the cold and harsh North and other places outside the comforts of the castles. He spent a lot time playing with Lord Edrick's children, especially his third son Edric, whom in the beginning didn't seem all that interested in the young fosterling from the Vale. However that changed over the years and soon Robert felt like a Stark in all but name, while at the same time knowing that his family was back at the Vale, waiting for him. In 690 A.L, the Starks and Robert traveled to King's Landing for a second time, this time to mourn the recently passed King Aegon X Targaryen and to celebrate the new King, King Maerys II Targaryen. The Starks and Robert mourned their own loss, having lost Lord Edrick earlier that same year, which left Robert's childhood hero, Eirek, the new lord of House Stark.

Robert found how much he disliked the large city during the time there, but he was glad as he get to meet his blood relatives and form a bond with the Royces once more. There was an marriage arranged between Robert's cousin Lillian and Eirek, so that the bonds of friendship between the houses would become stronger than before. He also managed to convince Lord Eirik and his uncle, Lord Bayard Royce, to be allowed to travel to see the Wall before he left Winterfell and returned to the Vale to serve his uncle. The wedding between House Royce and House Stark were held at Winterfell which were where Robert met his parents for the first time since the fostering began. That was also the first time, he met his younger brother, Landel. He remained at Winterfell for three more years, before he and Edric Stark and his foster-brother's direwolf, Havoc, traveled to the Wall to see the legendary place and the legendary Night's Watch. He returned to the Vale and his uncle, Bayard, at the age of fifteen and began to serve the lord at the Eyrie, before he traveled with the Vale Army to the Stepstones where he remained until the war was interrupted by winter. He then stayed with his parents at the Bloody Gate, doing what was needed of him and protected travelers from the mountain clans. He did not return to the war after winter ended and has instead remained at the Vale to see to it's people while most is away fighting the war.

Character Physical Description:

Robert has inherited his grandmother's looks, slight build and standing just over six feet in height. He has his father's brown hair and his eyes, slightly downcast under his fringe, are of a hazel-green color. He cares a great deal about what he wears at social gatherings since he doesn't like to stand out in a crowd, but outside of those gatherings he is more laid back, wearing more simple clothes of dark earthy colors than flashy clothing that would show of his families wealth.

Character Reputation:

Robert is known as a man that rarely visits feasts and festivities, instead he is usually found outside, travelling from holding to holding, or aiding in catching bandits and fighting against raiding mountain clans.

Character Personal History:

Clayton is the fruit of an affair between fisherman's daughter and an unknown father. He has never known his parents at all, as he was given to a orphanage in Gulltown, to be raised by the brothers of the Seven who ran the place. He had a harsh childhood, getting into fights with the other children or being beaten by some brother of the Seven who thought in teaching the boys with the back of his hand. Not only bad things came from his time at the orphanage though, as Clayton was taught how to read and write, do numbers and other skills mostly reserved for those of noble birth. He left to serve as an apprentice for a local merchant at Gulltown, which had no children of his own or other relatives, and he wanted his business and name to continue on even after the man's death. That was when Clayton Stone became Clayton Hawkins.

Clayton proved to be quite skillful and had quite the eye for business and the Hawkins family rose in stature in Gulltown. Clayton's foster father was murdered on the streets of Gulltown when Clayton was seventeen, and after that Clayton took over the business but didn't manage to raise about average reputation. He wasn't satisfied with this, so he traveled to King's Landing for the crowning of King Maerys II Targaryen, in hopes of gaining some powerful friends there and even getting him in contact with the Royces who would bring him much business if he was seen with them. However that endeavor failed, and Clayton had to return to Gulltown empty-handed. However with the war around the corner, Clayton managed to obtain a contract on producing new ships and weapons and transport them down to the Stepstones, which earned him a lot of reputation and gold. However as winter hit, the business went down, but somehow Clayton managed to keep his place among the top-merchants of Gulltown, but that didn't stop Clayton from being called to war to serve the heir of Gulltown as a soldier in the knight's elite troop of heavy infantry and crossbowmen.

Character Physical Description:

Clayton stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a muscular and stocky build. He sports wavy dark brown hair and his right eye is of a blue-gray color, while his left has lost it's hue after a fist-fight in one of the many taverns in Gulltown. He almost always dresses in plain clothes, though if that is because he does not have the dragons to buy more expensive clothing or if it's because he feels more comfortable wearing them is hard to say.

Character Reputation:

Known in Gulltown as a shrewd merchant and moneylender, outside of the Vale he doesn't really hold a reputation at all.

Character Personal History:

Jennalynn is the youngest child and only daughter of Ser Malcolm Royce and his wife Amya Royce. She was born at the Eyrie and raised mostly by her mother and servants, Ser Malcolm not really interested in a daughter. Her uncle, Bayard, arranged her to become a foster and lady-in-waiting to King Maerys II Targaryen's daughter, Rose, whom were the same age as the princess. She was sent to King's Landing at the age of six and was raised there by the septas to become a proper lady of the realm. She exchanged a lot of letters with her mother and the rest of the Royces that remained in the Vale, keeping a close contact with them, even if they were leagues apart.

She grew to love the court-life and can't really see herself ever leaving the court or the princess to return to the Eyrie, unless it's for a really good reason. At court, she has gained a few followers that follow her around everywhere she goes. She has recently become a woman, and is therefore ready to find herself a husband, which she isn't really looking forward to as she realizes that means she'll have to leave court. So far she has managed to charm her way out of a few betrothals to some minor lords from around the realms.

Character Physical Description:

Jennalyn is light-skinned and petite, though with ample curves. She has long brown hair that curls about her neck, and large, green penetrating eyes. With her smooth-skinned light color, perfectly oval face, Jennalyn can charm many with her pretty, dimpled smile with full lips. She is usually seen wearing fine satin gowns that show off her curves and draws the attention to her.

She is really too young to have a reputation yet, but many lords have begun looking upon her as a possible betrothed to their sons.

The second daughter of Lord Chyttering and his wife. Has been at court most of her life.

Elspeth is a young woman with a short, chubby build and reddish blonde hair. She wears fine clothing, which unfortunately is often stained from crumbs or spots of cream.

Character Reputation:

Known as a blabber-mouth which is open most of the time, either by talking or by stuffing cakes in it.

Character Personal History:

Calynne was born the only daughter to the old Moreland lord, and now serves her grandson as a governess for his young children.

Character Physical Description:

Calynne is a short, stout woman with graying hair that is often pulled into a loose bun on the top of her head. She was once quite the beauty, but time hasn't been kind to her and she knows it, so she dresses in dull clothing that does draw much attention to her looks.

Character Reputation:

She is known to be a sophisticated and spirited woman that tries her very best to further her families standing among the houses of the Westerlands. She is generally a kind-hearted woman who despises liars, though she herself is not afraid to lie for the cause of House Moreland.
