He didn't want to let too many into the circle of what he saw. "I will think about it, but for now since our sister is married to the Lannisters, we will start there." He paced a bit, thinking again,"The Baratheons and Hightowers will be last of the lot."
Evan thoughts went back to Elyssa Stark from some time ago,"And the Starks... Hmmm, I will see if Elyssa will allow me to speak with her Lord husband as well." He nodded at his sister,"If they are as disgruntled as you say, we may have a chance to set a few things right."
"Tell me... What exactly were they unhappy with regarding the War? Tell me all that you remember."

Lyssandra shrugged, "The two of them trudged off together when the deal was being negotiated. I do not know of anything specific. I was there to fight, not to eavesdrop and learn about gossip. There were a few there that did mind mind creating drama." She sighed again. "Having the Starks as allies is little use when they are so far away from us."

He nodded with his arms crossed about the Starks,"True... What about Tully? What your takes on him, I know that he was at the warfront."
"And this deal put the Baratheons on a higher pedestal then usual with three large keeps", EVan twisted his mouth in thought. "I shall go to Kings Landing, talk to Marcellus. I have to tell him about his mother."
"And maybe put our little mouse to work for us, if I think he can handle it", looking at his sister,"do you disapprove?"

"Tully seems like a good man, he has always been eager to teach me things and speak with me. I would say that we might be friends though I don't know his feelings that well." Lyssandra tried avoiding the subject but her brother seemed keen to drag up their family's shame. "Forget about her brother, and her son. If she has blamed you for her death she had little sense in her mind, and her son would not be the best place to put our trust."

"Well, my impression of Tully is the same, but he is not in a position to aid us, but I will keep him in mind."
"Frankly Lyssa, Marcellus is the only choice we have at the moment, and he has not done anything wrong,"he sighed,"His loyalty is to me, to us as always. I taught him that, something regrettably his mother could not learn no matter how much we tried to instill it in her. I have no fear of his loyalty and duty, especially with him being a ward."
"Either way, I am headed in that direction." Evan then wiped his face with a small kerchief,"before I saw you, I also sent a raven to Doreah and her Lord Husband, Aurane. I beleive we shoudl be able to spend some time as a family, we have things to discuss."

"Even if he grew up at court, if he is our only option then it is better we wait. We lose nothing by waiting and everything if Marcellus makes a mistake. Do not rush brother, please."

"I will feel him out, if I feel he is not ready. I will not push him", he nodded, listening to her,"I promise you that. I will not willfully put him in danger, if I beleive he would not be ready."
He held her hand gently, looking at her,"Trust me... I will not,but let me see where his mind is. Keep looking for word from Doreah or Aurane. I do not think to spend more time than needed in Kings Landing. If they arrive before I return, have them stay until I do."

"If they do come I will try my best to be...a host. I will try to make sure that things are in order here. The men from the army have returned home. I will send them for rest with their family, but I will have some as a force of guards in the city."

"You will do fine s a hostess. She is our sister, first and foremost", he smiled. "And you place the guards and the armies as you see fit. They are your's to lead now, do as you will." He lightly kissed her forehead,"I must go prepare. I shall return soon."
"The city is yours, my Princess." he smiled again,"Guard her well."

Lyssandra nodded and hugged her brother. "Write to me how things are going."

Taking her hug with a smile,"I shall." He released her, smiled and departed at first light of the next day leaving her to her duties as the Princess.

/// Evan arrived at the Tower and headed quickly to find Lyssa and give her his news. "Lyssa!!!", he yelled through the hollowed halls of bustling servants. With all the traffic he wondered what going on, he had not told her of Aurane and Doreah's plans to come yet.
The house is being prepared for visitors, but who?

It annoyed her when her brother shouted through the halls, but his voice heralded his safe return to Sunspear, so she could not be too upset. She cut him off as he was entering the hall, "Hello." She stood there in a simple dress though at her hip was her trusted sword, the one she used to slay the general at the final battle of the Stepstones war.

"Ahhh, there you are", his look was puzzling as he handed his wrap to the servant. "And why are you dressed that way? Are we entertaining someone?"
Evan looked around them,"I only just left Lord Lannister to come home.... He has agreed to come with Doreah as I requested." He looked again,"Who are we hosting, Lyssa?"

"We're hosting Lord Lannister and our dear sister," Lyssandra said, sparse for words. "It is a formal occasion, but I can put on some...combat clothing with flair." She looked her brother over, then turned around to study the hall, which was being prepared for guests. "I invited Lord Tully as well."
