This contains the Throne of Dorne. It is not as dark as the traditional castles in Westeros, the walls are light sand colored with the banners of Dorne lined around it. Sunlight pours through thick windows of many-colored glass set in the dome of the tower, so that the pale marble of the throne room can seem dappled by diamonds of half a hundred colors.
There are two thrones that sit there, One is for the ruling Prince of Dorne, if there is one.
To reach it you must pass through the Shadow City with it's many alleys, secret courts, bazaars and pillowhouses or take the direct route through the Threefold Gates. One must navigate the complex maze of alleys and twisting streets to arrive at each of gates.

//// Sitting in his study, looking out of the window at the sunbleached sands and city walls, Evan sighed. His venture to Kings Landing uneventful, it seemed that if you were not a Lannister, a Stark, a Baratheon or any other of the families, you could not gain the audience of the Crown. "Where did we lose out footing to gain the ear of Kings Landing?" Also disheartened by the news that even though Dorne had provided the opportunity and space for the armies of Westeros to use her lands as a staging site for the war, they received the short end of the proverbial stick.
His return was also greeted by the sad news of his daughter Adrien, who decided to take her own life just to spite him. He held the small letter, crumpled in his hand.
"Why woudl she do such a thing", he thought to himself."And now because of her carelessness, I have to tell Marcellus, which will have to be done in person."
He needed to talk to Lyssa, since it seemed that she was the only Martell that was still around.

A day before Lyssandra arrived to a small heroes welcome at the port of Sunspear. After stripping off her dirty clothing and ceremonial armour, she dropped into bed and slept for an entire day. A servant told Evan that Lyssandra was up and about finally.

Knocking on her door,"Lyssa.... We need to talk when you have a moment." Evan stood and waited to enter, he would respect her privacy, but his news was important.

Her door opened and she was standing getting dressed. She was partially naked but at this point in her life it did not bother her if her brother saw her twisted and strained flesh. She threw on a light breezy shift and her servant handed her a robe to put over top. "I have time now."

Evah shook his head with a small grin,"You were never shy", he chuckled lightly, still holding the letter. He took a seat in chair not far from her bed,"So I take the war went... Well. And the spoils of it were given out to the ones that the Crown felt deserving of course, save Dorne."
"There is also other news." He looked down at the piece of parchment, then at Lyssa,"If you did not know", he sighed,"Adrien is dead." Evan handed her the letter,"And she has told us the reason why.."
"... Me, of course..."

Lyssa let Evan hold out his hand while she continued to prepare. "Ten years of war to settle it with a piece of parchment. Our lack of reward is a failure on our house as a whole. Luckily we probably made a good enough amount of money from the Lords that were here we can buy another island if we chose to." She waved her servant away. "Is there any other news? I did not keep much track of it"

He nodded in agreeance,"Seems my trip to Kings Landing was as uneventful as I had feared." Evan then put the letter on her bedside table, he then leaned back in the chair. "To be even more truthful, with the lack of attention and blatant disrespect towards our family, I think....."
He paused, choosing his words. "I think we were on the wrong side of things." Evan then looked at his sister, wondering if she caught his meaning. "We lost people to a war that has put a hinderance to our trading and profit from the across the Narrow Sea. Fed and maintained every man of the armies of Westeros, including our enemies."
"Or do you think I am wrong, dear sister?"

"If there was any doubt before, we know for certain that Lord Tyrell is the true power behind the throne. Bastard didn't lose a man and he sweeps three keeps into his pocket." For a brief moment she let her anger show. "It is hard to see what sides there is. Tell me who my enemies are and I will go kill them. Some of the Lords there are annoying, but I would not say that they are my enemy. If we refused Lord Aenys all those years ago, they would be dividing up parts of Dorne for themselves instead of the Stepstones."

"I agree, Lyssa. The refusal of the Hand would have damned us all." He tapped his finger on his chin,"Our enemies are the ones that gained more, the ones who have thumbed their noses at the hosts who allowed them to march through our lands."
"The Roses, mostly Lord Tyrell." Evan sighed,"I thought Marcellus would make a better spy than I soldier, I would have put his ears and eyes to the test."
"That would be for another time or atleast until he is older."

"Do you have some sort of plan brother? Otherwise all we can do for the moment is sit, though I would like it if one of us was at King's Landing, trying to earn favour with Tyrell. He is not against us, he is just greedy." Lyssandra thought she should not let her brother know of her plans yet but decided to share them anyway, it had been a long time since she could speak to someone she trusts, "I was thinking of travelling to the Free Cities."

"I always have plans, Lyssa, just not the means to carry them out at the moment." Evan nodded again agreeing with her,"I think the same, but since Carmesi is not here nor Anders, the fate of House Martell, Sunspear and Dorne are reluctantly left in our hands."
"And they are only two pairs of hands", he stood and walked towards her, he knew her feelings, he too longed to go across the Narrow Sea to see the Free Cities, but he always knew his place was there. "I do envy you, dear sister but if you leave there will only be one pair of hands."
"I need you, we need each other. Your plans, my plans are the only plans that need to take place for the recovery of our house."
"We will need to speak to the Daynes and every other family of Dorne.... And soon."

Lyssandra watched her brother as he spoke. What he said had merit but she could not see her fulfilling the role he intended. "I do not have the same way with words that you do. If anything you may need to return to King's Landing, and I remain here." She rubbed her head and closed her eyes, "I don't know. IT was you Anderas and Carmessi that were the political ones. I can play cyvasse, speak Valaryian and wield a sword. The hands of mine you need are very clumsy in the work that is required. I will send for one man that I know I can rely on. He is a Dayne but not very well acquainted with his own family." Lyssandra paused and went to get some water for all her talking, he mouth was getting dry already. "I did hear of rumours that all is not well with the King and his family. Something about the prince being exiled and not being seen again."

"Yes we are good at the game of words", Evan smiled,"but you for all your fighting experience is who I need to lead our armies. To protect me when I need it. To protect Dorne when she needs it." He thought to himself, then looked at her,"Get the Dayne, I need to speak with Doreah and her Lord husband, one way or another. We may need them to come here."
"I too have heard the rumors from Kings Landing and something about the Lannisters", he looked at her,"If any are true of either, we may still have apart to play."

"Maybe write him a letter." She shrugged, "Maybe speak with Hightower, he seems like a good man from what I saw on the battlefield. The Lannister and Baratheon men are both hungry for glory and are greedy. I would not be surprised if Stark and Lannister got together, maybe even Baratheon too. Not all were happy with what happened during the war."
