Doreah could say nothing, in her grief.

"I might be. It was fun being on the road," he admitted, meeting her eyes. "I, on the other hand, have learned nothing. If you taught me this cyvasse game, perhaps it all would not have been for nothing," he said, smiling. "And what have you learned, if I may ask? "It would not take long to teach you the basics, you can come at night, that would be best." Lyssandra paused for a moment to turn over Edric's question in her mind. She had expected that she would keep to herself mostly and that she would be ignored, but this was not the case. There had been several people she was interested in speaking with and their intentions seemed right. Perhaps she had found at least a few good people amidst the throngs of idiots and fake people. "I have learned that I'm not as repulsive as I thought."

Since not a lot of Lyssandra's scarred skin was visible, Edric did not find it that important. He understood why she would think that way, though. "I do not think you are," he said, but was somewhat wary when it came to the offer. "At night? Are you sure that would be suitable? Would your family not find it odd?" he queried.

"No, of course not. It would be more odd you came mid day or early morning when they slept. Part of the reason people outside Dorne think us queer is because we spend our time up until the late night. The rest of the city of Sunspear is the same way. The sun and heat is overbearing and exceptional. It is not the case here in King's Landing of course, but myself and much of the household have kept to the time of Sunspear because we are so used to it. So receiving a guest late at night would not be strange at all." She looked at him evenly, wondering if he was nervous.

"Ah. So you people are like bats," Edric said, meaning no harm by that. He showed no signs of nervousness, which in this case reflected the truth. "If that is how it is in Dorne, then so be it. When should I come by?" He was still undecided whether to tell his brother about this visit, unsure if it would be acceptable.

Lyssandra shrugged, "Probably something like bats." She looked at him again, "You can come by before midnight or at midnight, I will be having a small meal by then. If you need guards because of the hour I can provide them for you, if you trust me."

"Today?" he asked, confused about the time. It was pretty late now. He whistled and Havoc made his way back to him almost lazily. "I think I should be fine, given I find your.. er, where are you staying again?"

"The family owns property in the city. You can come tonight if you like or some other day." She detailed for him how to get to the Martell Manse.

"Alright. I think tomorrow would be better," said Edric, who was not really up for staying up the whole night after getting so little sleep the night before. It did not help that he'd just come from a feast. "Looking forward to it," he added with a small smile.

"I look forward to your arrival as well." She looked back to where they had came from, "I will rejoin the feast then. It was nice meeting Havoc, erm, say goodbye to him for me."

"Will do," said Edric and started to leave, knowing that the wolf would not particularly care.

//// Evan waiting by a huge tree for his son in law, Victor. He sat on a bench, writing in his small ledge he normally kept with him. His sister, Doreah was on his mind which made him think of Adrien.

Ser Victor Yronwood strolled up, looking as dashing and handsome as ever a Dornish knight could look. Today he wore a red doublet sewn with pearls, lambswool breeches, and red-dyed leather boots ornamented with black scollwork. He turned on his famous blinding smile when he saw Prince Evan. "Good-father," he said amiably. "My apologies for keeping you waiting. How do I find you today?" Evan nodded as closed the small book, putting it away. "It is quite alright Victor, please have a seat." He gestured to the bench. He press his hands together, resting them against him chin thinking in what to say. Doreah kept saying in his mind. "How is your marriage, my son? I know it is new, but I do hope that Adrien is making you happy." "She can be head strong at times, but that is why I chose her to marry you. She needs a firm hand to guide her." He signed, looking at Victor,"I was not a good father to her. I chose my work over my daughter and let the women of my family do that duty." "I chose you because I knew that House Yronwood would fulfill its duty to Dorne. That marriage would also bring a much needed peace between us. In these times ahead we cannot afford to be fighting amongst ourselves." Evan placed his hand on Victor's shoulder,"Are you doing your duty, son?" His dark brown eyes staring into Victor, looking a hint of for a hint of deception. "Because if not, we need to work on remedying that and get you two back on the right course." "I have many plans, Victor. I need need offspring from this union."

"It's a perfectly adequate marriage," Ser Victor said, politely enough. He was taken aback by the question, but would show due respect to his father-in-law. "Adrien is, unfortunately, willful and childish and does not know her duties as a wife. Have no fear though, I'm teaching her. Believe me, my lord, I want to sire an heir as much as you wish it." "It pleases me to hear that", he grinned. "Willfullness is a shared trait among Martells, especially the women. It is trait that makes them formidable leaders. Try not to break her spirit too much.If she is broken, she cannot rule. I do not want that." He cleared his throat, then looked at Victor,"Your first born will be a ward of the Crown, whether it is a son or a daughter, once the child has its tenth name day." He stiffened to his resolve,"It is an honor and a privilege to do so and I will not accept a refusal on this from either of you. You can always make another child. I speak to you because you are her husband and you shall be the one to tell her."

Ser Victor stiffened at this news. "With all due respect, good-father, we are talking about my future son, not yours. I never had any plans of fostering any future son of mine with dragons, especially not our fool of a king and that slobbering Tyrell bastard. Since when as a Dornishman allowed a Tyrell to watch over his son? I will not allow it." "You forget that there has always been a long standing relationship between the Dragons and Dorne, especially House Martell", he frowned,"I do not care which of the Rose sows he married. If we would have had an available daughter or sister of Dorne, it would have been better." "And you disagree..." He shrugged lightly,"You fail to understand that the child's education from being in the presence of the Targaryens will make them a valuable asset to both sides." He looked at Victor, trying to disguise his displeasure. "You are an intelligent man. That is another reason I chose you for Adrien. I am sure in the end you will see reason." He then raised his eyebrow in question,"And you continuously say "your son", what if the child born to you is a daughter? Does that make the value of the child any less? It would still be a Dornish child."
