Doreah Lannister enters the feast with her young daughter Teriney, and her husband's young sister Amelia in tow, a small retinue trailing behind them. Doreah is the consummate image of a woman in her prime: her face is beautiful and exotic and her crimson dress suggests all the curves it covers with little concern for modesty. Her entrance draws many wandering eyes, but she seems unconcerned by it all—her eyes sweep through the hall intently. Her bearing is proud and fierce, but never haughty, and if it were not for her mane of ink-black hair and skin the color of bronze, she would also be the consummate image of a Lannister.
She inclined her head towards her companion, and some of the formidability surrounding her softened. “Amelia darling, you look unprecedentedly beautiful today. You will have to be on your guard with the young men here. You may find them to be, quite persuasive.” She smiled at the girl fondly.
Where is he?

Aemon entered the hall dressed in a robe of Tully blue, holding hands with his wife, a solemn look on his face. Lyselle is wearing a simple silk dress that is also colored blue, its clearly her nicest piece of clothing and she wears it proudly. Meryn a squire now, his shoulders broadening and quickly gaining in height. His clothes don't fit perfectly, explained for by his rapid growth in height.

Ser Lorren Hightower entered, looking appropriately somber. Age had treated Ser Lorren kindly, his face remained largely unlined, no doubt due to his general lack of expression. He was thirty six, but anyone who looked deeply into his eyes would observe a much older man. His wife, Mordane Ashford entered on his arm, and seeing someone she knew whispered something in her husband's ear. He nodded curtly and she departed into the crowd, leaving the brother of Lord Lothar alone.

"I think Leyton sounds like he will thrive in our home," Winifred said. In response to his question, she smiled and had a sip of wine. "Perhaps one day you will, ser. I was actually born in Kayce Castle, across the channel from Fair Isle, and went to the Rock as a maiden for my wedding. It looked very forbidding when I first saw it. It's a huge rocky fortress towering above Lannisport on a great stone hill. Inside, it looks like it was built for giants rather than men. I don't think there is another castle is Westeros to rival the Rock's size, save Harrenhal. It is certainly a very different style of architecture from your pretty, romantic Far Reach castles! But I learned to feel at home there." Throughout this, Winifred appeared oblivious to the conversation happening behind her. It was impossible to tell if she was able to hear anything. "That is good to know," Gwayne said cautiously. "I have always thought Casterly Rock must have a sort of wild and dangerous look to it. But I really would like to see it, one day. I shall have to pay a visit, if your lord husband consents. I am hoping to do some travelling now I am a knight. I would love to travel from Sunspear to the Wall and everyplace between, but that is ambitious of me, I know. Does it seem frivolous, my lady?" OOC - no problem, I wasn't sure whether it was intentional or not and decided to just go with it!

"It is not frivolous at all," Winifred said, quite sincerely. "All noblemen need to see the realm and cultivate their tastes while doing so. You will be most welcome to visit the Rock, and Lannisport." In a very rare and uncharacteristic moment of humility, Winifred added, "Of course, you will find Lannisport quite small compared to Oldtown." "Will I? Oh, well, I shall just have to make do," he said carelessly. "Not every place can be the same." He downed the rest of his wine. "I will come anyway, when I have the chance. Have you ever travelled outside the West and Crownlands, my lady?"

Where is he?Seeing as they two did not seem to want to talk he simply nodded and looked around, he noticed the Lannister and decided to approach, He bowed his head respectfuly. "Lady Doreah, a pleasure again as always."

Doreah looked into Amelia's innocent, unassuming expression and smiled longer still. And they wondered how she could indulge the child so! She had needed someone to indulge her, and, even then, it had fallen rather short of what one could hope.
“Just remember dear, you are for someone else, and no sweet words a boy will tell you can change that. “ She pitied the girl for that. There was no telling who Ser Oswyn would be behind those cool eyes, and Amelia deserved much better than that kind of a fate.
Doreah resumed her survey of the room, and her eyes halted on the figure of Winnie Lannister, arm-in-arm with some knight or the other—Doreah didn’t take the additional moment to identify him. Best to avoid that situation altogether! She immediately changed the direction of their course with a square-shouldered look that challenged anyone to remark on it, and moved away from Winnie Lannister as quickly as possible.
They were soon intercepted by Lord Tully, however.
“Lord Tully, I hope I find you well today,” she inquired graciously. “It has been a while since our last meeting.”

"It has, I believe it was my fathers death, five years ago?" He attempted to remember. "It has been a long time, however I am very glad to see you again." He gives his kind smile.

He was disinclined to join his mother and Lord Lannister quite yet so instead he grabbed another cup of wine and strolled up to his uncle. "Uncle Lorren! You look...very sombre," he said. "Will you not at least have a drink?"

"Lady Winifred, always an honor to see you, I do hope the years have been kind to you." He said with a smile. "I do hope your children and children's children are doing just fine under your guidance." He would say kindly.

If Doreah was upset by her mother-in-law’s approach, she gave no indication of it. She smiled thinly.
“Ahh, Mother. I am glad we’ve found you—it can be rather difficult to pick you out of a crowd. But you’ve saved us the trouble, thankfully. You do look rather haggard—my apologies for the girls! They were overcome by their excitement for the coronation.” Her gaze lingered for a moment before she turned to Tully.
“How have things in the Riverlands been with you, my Lord? It is such a lovely place, if only we had time to visit it more frequently. But things are always so awfully busy at the Rock.”

Edric Stark entered the hall, having no idea whether his family had already arrived. He had been holed up in his room for the better part of the day and left it just now because of his growing hunger. Rather tall for his age, Edric was looking handsome in his black and silver doublet, the Stark direwolf sewn on its chest.
He looked around and started towards the nearest nobles' table, determined to eat something. On his way over, he passed the Lannisters and Lord Tully, allowing himself a glance or two in the direction of the Lannister girl his age.

This touched a sore spot, though Winifred's smile did not show it. It had long been a grievance of Winnie's that Doreah was a startling, exotic beauty, something Winnie had always wish herself to be. Now in her late thirties, Winnie knew she could not realistically compete with the curvy, beautiful Dornishwoman, but that did not stop her from trying. She had worn a ridiculously tight-fitted crimson gown that was a poor copy of Doreah's in terms of tailoring and design, and unfortunately it revealed Winnie's out of shape figure. She was not a fat woman, but neither was she fit. She had tried to create the illusion of a full bosom as well, but had not succeeded, and had worn an extravagant necklace of rare colored diamonds, with matching earrings and bracelet, in an effort to out-do her daughter-in-law. Even her chestnut hair, thinner now than it had been even 7 years ago, was arranged in the same style as Doreah's. Anyone who had known Winnie in her youth would have raised eyebrows at this new style. It was not attractive to see a woman go through a mid-life crisis. "My guidance has always been good, Lord Tully, as you are insightful enough to point out," Winnie said. "Though our Doreah here does interfere with her outlandish Dornish ideas on how to raise children! Of course, we love her," she said, laughing. "But you know how it is, when you are trying to raise children right and they have such naughty influences!" "Of course, Lady Doreah, I understand we all have our matters to attend too but I do welcome you both to Riverrun. We recently were able to add a new Rivergate, so more ships are able to pass though the river and see the countryside, it is green and lush with trees and flowers, I am sure you would enjoy it if you came." He smiles. He turns to Winifred. "Of course, Children will be children, I must admire you both, you ladies are prime examples of your name. I see no reason why your children should not see the same and learn to be such wise and strong Knights and Ladies." He smiles. "It has been a long time since I have seen the Rock, perhaps I should speak with your Lord Husband and arrange a date?" He asks.

Elyssa followed on her brother's heels, looking a good deal less presentable. Her curly hair was combed and restrained and her face had been scrubbed clean, but her dress was a bit short over her ankles and it was clear the girl, who at nine was as tall as most girls at thirteen, was going through quite the growth spurt. She trotted along behind Edric, as eager for food as he was. She stared wide-eyed at all the the assembled Lords and Ladies, impressed by their splendour. "Do you know anyone, Edric?" she hissed as she reached for a heavily iced lemoncake.

It took an effort of will on Doreah’s part not to giggle at Winnie’s choice of wear, but she managed to maintain near-neutrality in front of Lord Tully, who she did not think would get the joke.
“You have the truth of it Lord Tully. You had only need look at how Lord Aurane turned out to see her work behind it.” She smiled particularly viciously at Winnie.
