Renwulf regarded the assembly before him, and after giving his sister a warning glance, left the garden.

Doreah suddenly heard loud shrieks and the tell-tale thump of footsteps not far from her, and she turned around instinctively need she hop out of the way. It was just a boy, though--she felt first minor annoyance and then curiosity. She had not met him and the girl squealing blithely after him inside.

A stocky youth with curly, dark hair entered the gardens. He was likely around sixteen years old, his face still slightly boyish, though it had begun the transition to adulthood some time ago. Despite this, he had a very beautiful face, almost pretty. His skin was the color of burnished copper, and his eyes were a warm, kind, amber color. On his cheek sat a small marking that vaguely resembled a tear, though it had begun to fade.
He looked absolutely lost, and his foreign appearance only intensified his feeling of being out of place. He wore an airy shirt, starched crisply beneath a cotton jerkin and tucked into a pair of comfortable looking green breeches. Belted to his waist was a long, thin blade that had an ornate or ceremonial quality to it.
He entered the garden and immediately had to hop out of the way, lest the children galavanting around run him over.

Doreah caught a glimpse of somebody else who found himself leaping hastily out of the children's way as she had nearly done, and felt less foolish herself, though a lady really did have to react with more poise and grace than the jumping and and shoving boys were always engaged in. She'd have to figure out the whole gracefully evading physical collision later on tonight in her chambers. She would just have to practice until she got it right.
The boy, though, seemed like dodging screaming children was the least of his worries today, and he was clearly not from King's Landing. He was dark, like her, though not like her at all. She continued to gaze in his direction, wondering if he truly needed help.

He noticed the girl almost immediately, and was struck with her strong near-familiarity in appearance compared to the rest of the people surrounding him. Flashing her a shy smile, he cautiously approached her.
"Hello," he said simply. He had a soft and pleasant voice, though a bit timid. His face split into a handsome grin and he nodded. "I am Ryl."

As he came closer, Doreah became aware of how pretty his features were and she flushed faintly.
"Hello, Ryl. I am Doreah--" she omitted the 'Martell' to match him--"and this is Aurane. Are you lost?" He seemed nice enough, though his name was quite strange. She wondered where he could be from.

"I am just confused," he began, a peculiar accent playing about his words. "The ceremony of your peoples intrigues one such as I." He swept his hand around him.
"Is intrigued the correct term?" He asked seriously. "I do not wish to offend."

"Yes, intrigued is correct," she assured him. "When a Lord and Lady get married, there is a feast and Tourney to celebrate the occasion. Lords and Ladies from all around attend, and it's all very exciting and interesting." She broke off from that train of thought before she could get too carried away.
"Where are you from, Ryl, if you don't mind me asking?"

Ryl seemed excited to share his genesis, his amber eyes glimmering.
"I originate from Volantis, of Essos, far away. I am come many miles and days and nights by ship. I league with the crew of the Peerless, freed and allowed life. I am also learning much in the ways of your God of the Drowned."
He offered his hand. "And where are you from, Doreah? You have the look of the Rhoyne."

Doreah stared at him soundlessly for a moment before remembering herself and offering him her hand. He was like something out of one of her books, come from the faraway places she had always wanted to visit. Sunspear could be such a bore, with all it's familiar people and places she had grown up around all her life.
"Are you here with the Greyjoys then, Ryl?" She didn't understand how people could worship something so terrible and hideous as as a drowned god, but of course she made no mention of her opinions on the matter to Ryl. He would have been better off had he had joined the service of a proper family--even the Lannisters. Maybe after discounting Lady Lannister, though. "I am from House Martell of Dorne," she answered finally, unable to keep the pride from her voice. "Have you heard of it?"

"My dogs are in King's Landing!" Aurane suddenly blurted out. "If you want to see them, uh, that is... Doreah." He looked at her, then away, ignoring the other annoying boy. He wondered if maybe for them he was the annoying boy.

Six year old Lyssandra flanked by her septa and followed by several guards take a walk through the gardens. Insisted to go on this adventure by Lyssandra, the Septa keeps a close eye on the girl and she darts about taking in all the unique flowers. Lyssandra leans over one exotic looking plant and sneezes several times. Then wipes her nose on her sleeve and dashes off to sniff another one.

Pushing through the crowd of their guards and whizzing past the Septa. Adrien giggled with glee and then shouted,"Lyssa wait for me...", the five year old Adrien shouted giggling as she followed behind her young aunt. She looked wide eyed at the flowers around them.
"I want to see the blue one, Lyssa", she pointed with her small finger.

Lyssandra twisted around as the familiar face of her cousin came into view. "Huhhh, okay!", Lyssandra leaned over and plucked out the flower while her Septa politely instructed her not to pull out the flowers from the garden. "But it's fun!" Lyssandra retorted, then handed the blue flower over to Adrien.

She smiled brightly, receiving the flower. She softly rubbed her cheek against the petals,"It is so beautiful...", she whispered. "Thank you Lyssa."
Adrien then quickly stuck her tongue out at the Septa, then giggled playfully. Taking her cousin's hand, she walked over to another bunch of flowers. Adrien then sweetly gave Lyssa a small budding yellow rose, it reminded her of the sun,"For you.."
