Jen had to get a drink and nearly coughed it up at the look that Winifred was giving her husband.

Whilst not displaying quite the same amount of awe as his wife, Quenton is clearly impressed by the Lord of Casterly Rock.
"Well met, my Lord," he says, the last word awkwardly high-pitched and squeaky as his voice breaks.
He coughs.
"My Lord," he repeats, more firmly, averting his gaze.

Jen couldnt take that and turned away, shaking in laughter as she tried to spot a new target.

"Joust?" Gerion replied (obviously a few steps behind what's being said already) "Why in the seven hells would I do something as stupid as that, boy? Horses are dumb beasts at the best of times. Add that to some of the moronic excuses for 'knights' who try to win glory in these tourneys and you end up with a lot of dead idiots" he laughed loudly.
His grin to Jen was just short of a leer and he waved his glass in her direction, the liquid inside dangerously close to escaping. "It's not often I have anything good to say about you Iron Islanders, but at least you're not foolish enough to get involved in this puffed up prancing pony show" he snorted.

"We are more fans on hand to hand..." Jen said lightly. "Much more personal then, dont you think?"
She gave the Lannister lord a small private smile.

Young Baratheon's mouth hangs open stupidly, quite unsure how to respond.
"My... my father would disagree with you on that point," he offers, immediately reddening.

"Well your father's obviously a moron" he said bluntly. "Pray you were a fosterling" he snorted and paid no more heed to the Baratheon child.
Gerion's replying smile was now definitely a leer as he paid more attention to the woman, and much less so to the gangly stag-apple youth vainly trying to grow a beard and some balls at the same time.
"Yes, I've always been very keen on hand to hand combat. Especially one on one. That's where you truly see into the heart of people I think. When they're struggling to survive" his smile grew broader and he became more animated, his hands seeming to curl round an invisible foe as he carried on. "I've heard you Ironborn were a tough breed. The women as much as the men, so I hear" he sneered slightly, obviously disbelieving such a thing was even remotely possible.

Jen couldnt take that and turned away, shaking in laughter as she tried to spot a new target. Harold could not help look to the Ironborn and the Lannisters conversing, he looked over to his conversation partner but still wary of the ones in the room.

I have heard that you Greenlanders at least attempt to put on a fight." Jen said, smiling at the Lannister's attempts to divert the attention of her husband. "It would be most interesting to see."

The young Baratheon felt as he did after taking one of his customary beatings in the yard.
His face growing redder, he waves a hand somewhat angrily between the shared gaze of the Greyjoy woman and Lord Lannister.
"Do you know who my father is?" he enquires pointedly.

Jen smiled brightly, already enjoying winding this girl up.
"Is it not yours?" She asked, turning to her once again. "Or is interesting a piece of gold or lace?"

"Ha! Oh there's plenty of fight in me, have no doubt about that" he chuckled darkly at a private joke.
"Perhaps I'll have the chance to test you, when time permits. These dreary parties are only good for ..." he stopped as a hand waved in front of his face and slowly turned to face the Baratheon child and his smile dangerously fell off his face. "I think you should be more concerned with who I am, boy" he thundered. "If your father were here, I'd say just the same to him. If you need to have a giant stick in your hand to feel like a man, then you're no man at all"

The boy hovered for a moment, his mouth opened. It seemed for an infinite second as if there were a coin in mid-air, flipping endlessly, heads or tails...
His mouth closed. And he hurried away.

He took a mug and nodded with a smile. "You are most right, we are here to celebrate a marriage, a union under the seven. I see no reason we can not partake in the merriment." after takeing a drink of the ale, he asked. "And how bears your well being, and that of your wife and son?" Ser Malcolm took a drink too, before answering. He glanced over to where his beloved wife was seated, talking with the wife to the lord of House Coldwater, while trying her best to keep Robert seated next to her which didn't look to be an easy task while holding a conversation. He decided to take the boy from her hands when he had finished talking with Lord Tully. "Times are good for my entire family. Robert is growing up fast, and I pray to the Mother that she'll bring me and Amya more children in the days ahead. And I am looking forward to test my skills against the rest of the knights of the realm at the tourney."

Jen smiled then caught the gaze of the Tully on her and excused herself. "Is there a reason you are staring?" She asked joining Tully and Royce.
