"I have... joys that are less fleeting. My family is constantly pleasing to me." Bertram replied. "I have never been to the Vale, but I hear the views are breath taking." He smirked to himself.

Evan nodded at her smile, letting her take his arm. "Alright then, where would you like to go?" He then paused, thinking over her name. "Lady Joanna Stark.... You are the wife of.... " He then looked at her curiously,"Where is your husband, my lady? I would hate to have any misunderstandings if I am seen leaving the room with another man's wife." Joanna shrugged. "I haven't much preference. I was looking for my husband, or my stepson, but I couldn't find either of them. Chances are they've found a punchbowl and have better things to do than to look out for silly old me."
