"Its a shame they do not sell dignity." Lord Bertram replied almost under his breath.

"I see." said Lothar icily, more so to Jennae that to his wife. He did not approve of his wife associating with such lowborn especially Ironborn, but he supposed that given the occasion, such a trial must be borne. He looked her up and down before asking "And what is Lady Willfyre's opinion about Lord Tyrell's daughter marrying the Crown Prince?" "That no doubt she will feel like the luckiest woman alive in the seven Kingdoms." Jen answered smoothly. "And what is yours?"

"Its a shame they do not sell dignity." Lord Bertram replied almost under his breath. "Hahaha" Gerion laughed, not even close to being offended. "If they did, I think there would be a lot of impoverished men around, but I'd still be wealthy" he nudged his wife in the ribs, encouraging her to laugh along. "Oh I've missed you, you stuck up prude. I hope your daughter doesn't take after you!" he chortled.

Hearing the raised voices, Domeric Thatcher changed his patrol route so that he walked past the table. Dark brown eyes briefly studied each of the lords and ladies present, before he moved to stand against a nearby wall.

"Missed me... I can not say... the feeling is exactly mutual." Bertrem replied, "But... you do have a certain... dull flair. Much like that gold of yours. Heavy with a bit of shine if truly polished up." He looked at the poor woman, and bowed his head.

Lord Stark is an impressive feature wearing a grey doublet on his fingers is only a single large silver ring that has been made into a wolfs head. Behind comes a small group of his children and other retainers from the North.

"And why is that Lord Hightower?" Jen asked. "Should you not always be on your guard anyway?"

"And why is that Lord Hightower?" Jen asked. "Should you not always be on your guard anyway?" "Less so when one is surrounded by friends." he replied to the Willfyre girl. He turned to his wife and smiled, forcing down his irritation. "Come my dear. I am sorry to interrupt your conversation with this lady here, but we should mingle with the other Great Lords, lest they begin to plot against us. Lord Tyrell looks very smug over there. Perhaps we should be seen to offer our congratulations."

"But you said you'd speak with him?" Quenton tested his brother, disappointment beginning to leak into his voice. As they walked his attention was caught by a lady in a long flowing dress. But he caught himself and snapped out of it. It was not paying attention that had gotten him into this mess in the first place. "And I will." Oswyn replied, noting that Lord Lannister engaged in what appeared on the surface a pleasant conversation with Lord Tyrell. He had no desire to interrupt him, especially given his father's troubles with the Reach lord prior to the wedding. "Perhaps you should go and find Father and Grandomother, Quenton." he said sternly, leaving little hint that it was not a suggestion. "We can't have you bumping into anymore lords, or gods forbid royals. I swear to you Lord Gerion will get what he deserves."

Evan finally decided to make a brief appearance. He felt almost uncomfortable looking at the guests. He tugged lightly at the lapels of his jacket that was adorned with the colors of Dorne and walked into the mass of bodies, swirling and talking to one another.
A smile smirk crossed his lips as he spied his brother, Anders eating, drinking and looking over the crowd as he was. He took in a deep breath and walked to the table looking over the food that was being either picked over or pawed by the guests. He grabbed a goblet of Dornish Red and found himself a seat.

Harold saw a man he had not seen before, the darker faired man must be Dornish, from the other side of the world, he thought to himself. Harold made his way to the man's seat. "Greetings! I fear we have not met, but I am not too surprised by that." He smiles, "Harold Tully, a pleasure."

Still watching the crowd, he took a long swallow of his wine. He almost seemed to relax until someone approached. Evan stiffened and looked up at the stranger from his seat.
Placing his goblet on the table. "No, we have not", he grinned, knowing how these pale Andals thought towards the Dornish, Evan extended his hand in greeting to show that contrary to popular belief, he was a gentlemen. "I am Prince Evan Martell."

Ser Lorren nodded in agreement, his face remaining impassive. "Well said Ser. I will, of course be competing as well, for the glory of the Far Reach. I pray that the warrior will watch over you in the lists and grant you good fortune." "As will you, the warrior holds his spirit in only the swords of the most honorable." He smiles. The beginnings of a smile appeared on Ser Lorren's lips, but he simply nodded and allowed Ser Harold to move on through the crowd. The man was clearly much more adapted to these occasions than he. Lorren considered returning to the drinks, but he suspected being completely devoid of his wits before the banquet had even begun was ill advised, so he simply shuffled through the crowd, doing his best to keep away from his self assured brother and his wife who had just been noticed in the corner of his vision.
